Jasmine was not a hugger let alone a cuddler. But she could get used to this. She was sitting on Taylor's couch holding her while she cried...because of her. That she could not get used to, doesn't want to get used to. Taylor crying was the most painful thing she had ever felt in her life; to add to it, she was the reason the blonde was crying. "I'm sorry." She didn't know what else to say. She didn't know what to do to make the other girl feel better. "I shouldn't have yelled at you-"
"I don't care that you yelled at me, I care that your hurting and you don't feel you can come to me." Taylor sniffles pulling away enough to look up at Jasmine.
"It's not that I don't feel that I can't come to you with things like this...I just wasn't ready to." Jasmine mumbles pulling Taylor closer to her side.
"I'm sorry I pushed you...It's just I've been through this with someone before...I know how badly this could end and I don't want that for you..I care a lot about you and I just want you to know that I'm here even if you don't want to talk and you just want to sit and watch a movie or do homework. I don't care, I just want you to know-"
"I know. You're here." Jasmine smiles gently bringing her hand behind Taylor's neck before pulling her face to her chest and pulling her into a tight hug.
3 am. Taylor couldn't sleep. She had been staring at the same spot on her ceiling for the past 6 hours. A loud thud on the wall just by her door caught her attention as a whispered, "Shit." followed before her door slowly creaked open revealing a tall feminine figure causing Taylor to sit up in bed. "Tori?"
"No, Jasmine. Who's Tori?" a quiet warm voice asked as the figure stepped closer to the foot of the bed.
"Jasmine, what are you doing?" Taylor asked as she threw her legs over the side of her bed earning a firm but polite, "Stay".
"I can't sleep." was all Jasmine said as she crawled up the bed to lay beside Taylor, "Can I sleep in here?"
Taylor chuckles looking down at the brunette in the light of the moon, "Sure. I can't sleep either." Jasmine nods before reaching a tentative hand out, gently pulling the other girl down and into her chest.
The girl every boy wanted and every girl wanted to be only wanted the one person in the entire school who didn't want her or to be her, the quiet kid who just wants to be left alone so the day can go by without there being a total disaster like catching the attention of the whole student body because the head cheerleader likes her.
