Sighing as she walks to the door only for the sigh to catch in her throat as she opens the door to see Kendall standing there in work attire, clearly pissed. "The hell-" Kendall pushes past the taller woman cutting her off as she walks further into the apartment. "Hey-"

"Don't hey me. You can't just drop that big of a bomb on someone and not answer their calls or texts then not expect them to confront you the old-fashioned way." Kendall smiled smugly, that felt good.

"I'd expect nothing less, why do you think I've been working from home," Payton smiles as she closes the door behind Kendall.

"I don't know why considering you didn't tell me. I had to hear it from Todd," Kendall yells stepping closer to the slightly shorter woman, "Why don't you tell me why."

"Tell you why...? Why did I tell you I've had a crush on you since middle school then walk out without explaining anything? Why I've been working from home for the past four days? Cause I'm pretty sure you know me you have known me since we were four," Payton smiles sarcastically.

"Because you were embarrassed? Anxious? Just tell me why, Payton." Kendall cried as tears began falling down her cheeks.

"Both. I'm sorry. Can we just forget this ever happened?" Payton asks as she walks over to the slightly taller woman to bring her in for a hug.

"No, you don't get to say that and hug me like it's okay 'cause it's not," Kendall yells pushing Payton away gently, "Cause it's not. I don't want to forget what happened that night...I never want to forget that happened, cause it was the best moment of my life, you like me. What's so wrong with that that you want to forget it ever existed?"

"You don't feel the same way...So you'll hate me and that can't happen cause if you hate me that means you don't want to be friends which means you won't be a part of my life in any capacity and I won't survive that...You know Nell was right you are the beauty to my beast 'cause he couldn't live without her just like I can't without you-" Payton was cut off by Kendall's lips on hers, she was frozen for a moment not sure what was happening was real. She parted her lips and ran her lip across the brunette's bottom lip earning a moan and a hand wrapping around the back of her neck. Yep, it was real. Suddenly Kendall was pinned against the wall next to the bedroom door and she was being lifted off of the floor by her thighs and she was letting out a slight squeak. Payton smiled into the kiss before pulling away, "Sorry, I got excited-" Once again Kendall interrupted her with a kiss before pulling away, "Bedroom?" Payton smiled and pulled them away from the wall walking as fast as she could to her bed.
