(Deep Down At a falling Apart Civilization Of Anthropomorphic Animals.)

“ wake up, wake up, hey wake up can you hear me?” a male coyote stays in bed as he gets shaken by a paw. “hey wake up.” The coyote makes a soft growl as he gets shaken again. “come on get up you big pup, you don’t want to be staying here it’s not safe for you, they’re coming, hurry to get up, or you’ll end up like one of them!” a male voice is heard “shit, we have to go come on leave that coyote there he’s not like one of us, he’s a meat eater, just like those other meat eaters out there!” the other voice responds to the male voice “how do we know he wants to harm animals like us we just found him knocked unconscious!” the male voice replies “he’s a goddamn Canidae his kind hurts animals that are just like us!” 

“just because he’s a Canidae it doesn’t mean we can’t change him, every animal like us needs to at least work together, have you seen what the world has come to? We need to create at least one squad no matter our species, it’s hard times right now can you tell, we don’t even know if we’ll find other animals along the way. When was the last time we saw any animals that weren’t already messed up in the head & given into the instincts of their Beastiality?” 

“Jaz, I know what you mean but we don’t know if this coyote has already given into the instincts of his primal side.” Jaz looks at the male zebra with a mix of emotions for the coyote. “Zack I know this is a hard thing to do with how our world is tearing apart in this falling civilization.” Zack sighs as he sees the hare does not want to leave the coyote behind. “fine, Jaz I’ll trust you on the judgment of this Coyote I still don’t believe you are trying to help a carnivore out who is quite mysterious so far.” Jaz nods her head “trust me, Zack, I have good intentions for this Coyote, I can already sense it within him.” The horse looks at Jaz in confusion “well ok then but I’m going to keep an eye on him when he’s around us, I don’t trust carnivores after what happened in the past.”

“I know Zack I know but please trust me on this come on, let's try to wake him up.” Zack nods then walks with Jaz to the Coyote to find an unsuspected surprise once they reach the area where the coyote e was. “what the? he’s gone!” Zack gasps and then looks around for the coyote. “ oh no, no this is bad.” Jaz smacks Zack across his head “calm down you jumpy stallion, he couldn’t have gone far.” As the two herbivores begin to talk, they don’t notice the two gleaming green eyes staring at them from the shadows in the room across from them, til they are surprised by a shocking attack. 

The two herbivores scream as they are suddenly taken down by a carnivore that isn’t the Coyote “aahhh, no don’t!” suddenly a wolf bares its’ fangs at the two herbivores snarling loudly as its mouth is drooling, from the scent of the two herbivores “Mn, I didn’t think I could find myself a full five-star meal.” The wolf growls as it gets ready to prepare a bite out of the two herbivores. “you two will make a perfect healthy protein-filled meal for an old wolf like me!” the two scream loudly as the wolf suddenly tries to take a bite out of Jaz who closes her eyes tightly as she prepares for her death until she hears a loud chomp but doesn’t feel any pain making her open her eyes slowly “what, I’m not feeling any pain why is that?” she then turns her head & sees another pair of feet making her gasp as she notices they belong to the coyote she tried to wake up. 

“you aren’t getting a bite out of these two herbivores; I won’t let you.” Zack gasps as he notices the coyote was unlucky enough to take a row of canine teeth directly on his left arm, blood being drawn out as the wolf’s jaws meet the flesh of the Coyote's left arm. 

Zack quickly helps up Jaz “we need to go now!” Jaz does nothing & watches the scene between the two carnivores in shock. “your teeth seem quite a dull wolf boy, how do you expect to take a bite out of your prey?” the coyote suddenly grabs the jaw of the wolf & forces his arm out of the jaws of the wolf making his left arm free from the grip of the jaws. His blood splatters to the ground, once his arms are free, he punches the wolf in the stomach and then, uses a right hook across the cheek of the wolf who stumbles & falls to the floor. 

“Now get up & show me how tough of a carnivore you can be, don’t disappoint me.” The wolf brushes his cheek smirking as he tastes his blood, then glares directly at the hyena & stands up slowly baring his blood-stained fangs. “so, you decided to betray your own family of Canidae, or have you not given into your primal instincts just yet?” 

“I won’t ever give in to my primal instincts, I won’t lose it just like you, now get up & fight me.” The wolf grins devilishly then howls loudly as he sprints at the coyote & attempts to strike him with his claws until the coyote ducks under the attack & begins to block against the punches of the wolf. Using his paws to block the attacks from the wolf, until he fails to defend against a surprise attack that strikes him across the face and then makes him stumble back. “didn’t see that one coming did you traitor?” the coyote growls then charges at the wolf, & begins to throw punches towards the wolf striking the wolf with a two-hit combo, then gets caught by one of the wolf’s paws as he gets caught, the wolf uses his free claw then claws at the coyote's chest ripping his shirt that leaves four claw marks on the coyote's chest, making him snarl in pain then shove the wolf away from him, which makes the wolf laughed.

 “so, traitor, how does it feel to be attacked by your own family of Canidae, you can’t defeat me, you’re too soft of a Canidae unless you give in to your primal instincts of a carnivore.” The coyote growls lowly as he holds his chest then feels a feeling inside his heart that gets his blood pumping. Making him feel something he hasn’t felt in a long time. Making him bare his fangs, once he bares his fangs his eyes suddenly open widely making his eyes glow brightly and making him snarl loudly as he stares directly at the wolf, in anger & hatred. “yes, give into those feelings, I want to see your ferocious side, within you.” 

The coyote then charges at the wolf & grabs him by his throat picking him up off the ground and making the wolf, gasp as he notices the coyote is quite terrifying in this phase. “grr, h-how the h-heck I- I can’t move?” the wolf then looks at the coyote's glare noticing the coyote has a look of death within his stare. “y-you wanted to see my, primal side this is what you have to pay for, how do you like this side of me.” 

“work, y-your strength is unspeakable h-how, this strength shouldn’t even be within you, it’s not n-normal, we c-Canidae shouldn’t be like this.” The coyote brings the wolf’s face close to his and then speaks to the wolf “then I must be the first Canidae to even use this strength that you haven’t solved yet.” The wolf then notices the coyote ready his claws. 

“Now, this fun is over wolf boy.” Jaz then sees the coyote suddenly forces his claws directly into the chest of the wolf a loud sickening sound is heard as the coyote's claw rips directly through the wolf’s chest blood splattering onto a once clean & waxed wall, now stained in dark red from the wolf who falls limp onto the coyote's shoulder making her widen her eyes in shock, & horror as the coyote throws the lifeless wolf to the floor the deep & disturbing hole in the wolf’s chest now able to fully be seen.

Jaz covers her mouth in shock and then sees the coyote who looks directly at his blood-stained paw, with no emotion making Jaz wonder if the coyote meant to give in to his primal instincts.  Jaz suddenly walks to the coyote slowly and then speaks in a soft tone. “Mr. Coyote?” the coyote then perks up his ears making Jaz gasp softly. “Jaz, d- don’t get close to him!” Zack remains in place watching his best friend slowly approach the coyote. Jaz suddenly places her paw on the coyote and then suddenly gasps as the coyote suddenly turns to face her & grabs her hand tightly the two of them making eye contact. “Mr. Coyote?”

 Zack suddenly stands up “Jaz!” he tries to sprint to her til’ he hears the coyote speak. “are you two ok?” Zac stops in his place and then sees Jaz nod her head “yes, thank you but why did you protect us?” the coyote stands up and then looks away from her. “it’s a long story.” Jaz then notices the coyote's arm & wraps a cloth around it, making the coyote look at her “what’s your name mister coyote?” the coyote looks at Jaz “my name is Vex, that’s all you need to know for now.” Jaz nods then look at the coyote's wounds “Vex, huh that’s a nice name for a coyote-like you.” Zack comes over to Jaz & Vex as he notices the coyote isn’t as bad as he thought but becomes suspicious of the coyote wondering how strange it is for the coyote to have killer instincts and then suddenly become calm all of a sudden. “he’s such a strange carnivore?”
