My Cat is a Jerk

I swear my cat does this on purpose. He'll sit within five feet of me and start purring, like some cuddly thing, but if I move to put him on my lap he scampers away. Does anyone else's cat do this?
I tried out using new brushes and settings to draw and color this page. I can see a lot of things that I need to improve on, but hopefully it looks as good as, if not better, than previous pages!
