Well I stuck to it, lads, the end of this month promise. I managed to find a gentler way of moving into my preferred art style. I just didn't like how abruptly different it was. I spent far too long on trying for a happy medium. Whatever. Maybe no one will even notice. That said, the first two pages are before hiatus, just never uploaded them, so character design looks a bit different in the last four pages.
Next episode will be before the end of February. I would like to say when, but health, parenthood, full-time job, and basically existing makes it challenging for me to predict things. I post as I go, instead of with episodes stocked up. Maybe one day I'll manage that. Anyway, until next time, cheers!
EDIT: Almost forgot! This is the first time we're seeing Bishop and Rook talk to each other! Look at my babeh bois go!
This is the story about how one guy completely destroys another guy's life:
Rook, a guy with enough skeletons in his closet to fill a graveyard, was born into the world of conservative, wealthy socialites. He has spent the greater part of his life trying to live up to his parents' lofty expectations.
Bishop, a young entrepreneur, has no f*cks to give, and comes from more modest beginnings. He isn't the sort to play a game he knows he'll lose.
With patience and shrewd calculation, Bishop is about to take Rook's "king" for his very own.
