7 - You All Meet At A Bar...

So, this is new, isn't it?
I have shown the players in character back when it was a photocomic, but not often. One time I got my brother to do the drawings for a special strip that went in the back of the second volume of the print collections.
Drawing has opened up some interesting possibilities to me, and I hope to do more in character location shots as the series continues.

The species the characters play are all from that universe as well. Of course, it's still them but AS the different species. I was tempted to draw them as the actual species but with little affectations to make them recognizable as the players, but going the other way around was much more fun... and easier.

I am wondering if the new player, being human, a child and an innocent, will affect the greed machine that is Ben.
Sooner or later she will be on the receiving end of his selfishness. Ben is a conman, a sociopath, and a generally unpleasant experience overall. But fuzzies kept putting up with it, so there HAS to be some part of him that makes it worthwhile.
We have never seen Ben's full story. But we have ALSO never seen him disappoint a little girl. I'm thinking Grinch level changes coming.. that or having him flattened under the weight of a sleigh filled with stolen gifts..
