"Soo-Yun, it's so dangerous." Kim Min-Ji said over the phone while talking with Soo-Yun. "I know, but I have to do this for my dad and family." Soo-Yun replied, as she dropped herself on the bed. "I am with you." Soo-Yun nodded her head and hung up the call. "Let's get fresh." She went to her closet and headed to the bathroom after taking her nightwear.
Jun-Sang entered the house while losing his tie. It was thirty past ten. He let out a deep sigh and headed to the kitchen to have water. Soo-Yun flinched as Jun-Sang entered the kitchen. It also shocked him to see her at that hour. "You are not sleeping?" She rolled her eyes. "I am sleeping. It's my ghost." He shook his head and walked to the fridge. Jun-Sang took out the chilly water bottle and poured water into the glass before drinking it. Soo-Yun was staring at him with a stunned reaction. "Am I that handsome?" Sudden voice of Jun-Sang echoed into her ears, causing her to come back to reality.
"Handsome, my foot." She smirked bitterly. "What?" He questioned, while glaring at her. "Right, your handsomeness never works on me." Soo-Yun walked out of the kitchen, leaving Jun-Sang deep thoughts. "What's wrong with her?" He shrugged his shoulders and made his way to the room. "This is not me. Why am I so harsh on him?" Soo-Yun was panting heavily, and her body was trembling because of anger. She shifted her gaze on the mirror and stared at her pale face. "I am sorry, I need to be strong for myself respect. My father didn't teach me that." Nodding at her while talking to herself, she walked near to her bed. Lying on the bed, she took her gaze to the ceiling. "Why is it so hard to hate him when I am deeply in love with him?" Closing her eyes, she let out a deep breath before going to her deep sleep.
"Check these files as well. I am going somewhere and I will be back as soon as possible. Handle the situation in my absence. I don't want any mistakes and make sure no one comes to my office when I leave." Soo-Yun's manager nodded her head and bowed at her before heading out of the office. Taking her handbag, she put her phone in it. Soo-Yun took her car keys from the desk and walked out of the office. Soo-Yun was passing by the hallway when she bumped into someone. She irritably looked at the person. Jun-Sang standing like a skyscraper in front of her, blocking her way. "In a hurry?" Ignoring his words, she tried to escape, but Jun-Sang quickly grasped her arm and pulled her close to him. Landing on Jun-Sang's hard chest, Soo-Yun groaned. "What is your problem?" Asking him as she opened her eyes and met his dark orbs.
"Answer me when I'm questioned." "Why?" She dared to talk back to him, causing him to grit his teeth. "Soo-Yun, you are talking too much these days, and you know that I am a short-tempered person." "It's not my problem what you are or not. All I know is don't put your nose in my business and it will be better if you spend your time with your chick, who is interested in seducing you." Answering him harshly, Soo-Yun jerked her hand away from his grip. She fixed her dress and walked out of the main gate, leaving him alone once again. Clenching his fist, Jun-Sang headed to his chamber.
Sang-Woon parked his car in the parking lot and was about to get out of the car. Stopping at his track, he saw Soo-Yun hopping in her car before driving away. "Where is she going during working hours?" Questions rushed in Sang-Woon's head and he also started his car to follow Soo-Yun. Sang-Woon stopped his car as he saw Soo-Yun's car in the parking lot of the hospital. Negative thoughts rush into his head, making him worry about Soo-Yun. Fighting with negative vibes, Sang-Woon got out of the car and stepped towards the hospital's entrance. Hoping for the best, he entered the hospital and started searching for Soo-Yun.
Soo-Yun went to the reception and waited for her turn. Letting out a deep sigh as her number came after a few minutes. The receptionist glanced at Soo-Yun tiredly, shocking Soo-Yun. Soo-Yun shook her head and smiled a little. "I am here to meet Dr. Jeff." Receptionist frowned and glanced at her sadly. "Miss. Leon, we are sorry to inform you that Dr. Jeff is no more. He died two days ago." Stumbling a little, Soo-Yun grabbed the counter. "Are you okay Miss. Leon?" Receptionist asked worriedly. "Are you kidding, right? Shaking her head, she cleared her words right. "How?" Her words stuck into her mouth. "He got into an accident." Soo-Yun nodded her head, as it was getting hard for her breath. Soo-Yun made her way out as fast as she could. She wanted to hide somewhere and cry her heart out. For Soo-Yun, Dr. Jeff was only the hope. He paid for his life to help her. If he didn't stand for Soo-Yun, he would live. "He died because of me."
Walking in the middle of the road, lost in deep and dark thoughts, she didn't care about her life. She just wanted to vanish. Tears were falling all over her face, blurring her vision in every past second. "He died because of me. WHY GOD YOU ARE MAKING IT MORE DIFFICULT?" A hard jerk of her body pulled her other side, colliding with a hard one. "Are you crazy?" Deep scary tone of Sang-Woon's voice caused her to burst into tears. Soo-Yun hugged him tightly and buried her face in his chest. Leaving him in a shock she started sobbing harder. "What happened?" His question made her cry harder. "He died, Dr. Jeff died because of me." Sang-Woon's eyes widened as he heard about Dr. Jeff's sudden death. "What? " nodding her head indicating to him it was the truth. Sang-Woon patted his back gently, making her comfortable under his touch. "Everything is gonna be okay. You can share everything with me."
Sang-Woon nodded his head as Soo-Yun told him everything about her father's case and all the evidence. "I am with you." She felt so light after letting him know which was in her heart. "Thank You Sang-Woon." "Hey, don't thank me. You are friends, right?" Soo-Yun chuckled and nodded her head multiple times, like a baby. "So, you want to take your dad's company back?" "Yeah, because I don't trust this Jang family anymore. They have a lot of secrets and lies." "What?" Soo-Yun nodded. "I will find out what they are up to." Sang-Woon narrowed his eyes and heaved a deep breath before letting it out. "I will help you with it." Soo-Yun gave him a warm smile and nodded her head.
