Okay yes, you did walk all the way out here but calm down kid. Worst case scenario you enjoy a camping trip.
I have lived in the pacific northwest for a long time and used to work in environmental restoration. My favorite native plants are vine maple, snowberry, and salal. Vine maple because it makes gorgeous layered canopies. Snowberry because it produces berries in winter. Finally salal because it is an evergreen shrub so it gives some more green in fall and winter and because its flowers are on a zig-zag stem.
