I was supposed to update sooner but decided last minute to add a few panels where Oat goes selectively mute and uses sign language. Originally I was going to show him using ASL a bit further in the comic, but realized now would but a good time to introduce it as well :]
For those confused, Oat goes selectively mute when feeling strong emotions, or when he's stressed/exhausted-- basically, times when he doesn't have enough energy to speak, so speaking with ASL has made it easier to communicate for him!! We'll explore that more in future episodes, anyway. Hope you enjoyed!! :]
Two brother's are thrown into the wilderness, hunting to find a way to break the peculiar curse set on Arlo; the youngest of the two. They quickly realize that the woods are strange, and the people stranger. With the help of the Woodfolk, and with a suspicious stranger following their every move, they head off in search for the Witch's Sister in hopes she, or someone on the way, can break Arlo's curse so they may return home.
However, as the Witch warns, the woodland becomes more twisted and strange the further they venture; wild magic runs rampant, and the creatures of the woods turn even more bizarre. It's easy to lose your wits, this deep into the forest.
Will Oat and Arlo find the Witch's Sister? Will they break the curse? Will they ever return home? Or are they cursed to venture the woods forever, in search for a cure that may not even exist?
