Zaruya and Naelina continued their journey deeper into the desert, their determination and curiosity driving them to explore the farthest reaches of the desert. They were on the lookout for any signs of the ancient civilization they had encountered earlier, and they were determined to uncover the secrets that lay hidden beneath the sands while on their journey.
As they journeyed, they came across a series of mysterious dunes that seemed to go on forever. Despite the danger, Zaruya and Naelina decided to investigate the dunes. They climbed to the top of the highest dune, and they were amazed by what they saw. Below them, hidden beneath the sands, was a network of underground caves and tunnels emerging partly from the sand.
The caves were filled with strange symbols and carvings, and they seemed to lead deep into the earth. Zaruya and Naelina were fascinated, and they knew that they had to explore the caves.
As they delved deeper into the caves, they discovered a chamber that held a strange and ancient machine. The machine was made of metal alloys and some wood, and it seemed to be powered by a mysterious energy source. Noting that wood was an extremely rare material in the desert, and yet it was a common material found in the artifacts of the ruins. The machine had a series of levers and buttons, and it was clear that it had been built to do something important.
Zaruya and Naelina were puzzled by the machine, and they wanted to find out what it did. They experimented with the levers and buttons, and after some trial and error, they were able to activate the machine.
As the machine came to life, the dunes began to shift and move. The sands parted, revealing a hidden city that had been buried beneath the dunes for thousands of years. The city was made of the same metal alloys and wood as the machine, and it seemed to be powered by the same mysterious energy source.
The city was a marvel of engineering and technology, and it was clear that it had been built by the same ancient civilization that had built the ruins they had encountered earlier. The city was filled with advanced machines and technologies that were far beyond anything that Zaruya and Naelina had ever seen before. Too bad it has all been the victim of time and nothing is functional anymore. Except they found water which was great news and they could refill their supply which was running low.
They explored the city and discovered that it had been built as a sanctuary for the ancient civilization's people. The city was a place where they could live in safety and comfort, protected from the dangers of the war. They even found some of the remains of the people - some skeletons that have not fully decayed yet.
They walked through the deserted city and came across a room filled with strange devices, it seemed to be a laboratory. They found some old records, which gave them some answers about the civilization. It seems that this city was supposed to be a military city, and according to Naelina's guess, the civilization that lived in this city might have been in opposition to the empire that wanted to control the land, some sort of revolutionaries.
Zaruya and Naelina were completely amazed by the story they had just learned. And after some time, they left the underground city and headed back to the desert.
Zaruya and Naelina had been traveling through the desert for days, and they were in need of some supplies and repairs for their carriage. They had heard from a passing robot wanderer, that there was a small desert village that had a market where they could find what they needed.
They made their way to the village. They were greeted by the locals who were a mix of different tribes, robots, hybrid elves and some humans. They made their way to the market, where they found a wide variety of goods, from food and water to weapons and tools.
As they were browsing the market, they noticed a strange figure in the corner of the market. It was a robot. The robot had built his eyes from scavenged microscope lenses, which gave him a powerful vision, but also made him look like a nerd with huge glasses. He was known in the village as "Glasses" due to his appearance. He was a robot engineer.
Zaruya: "Hey, you there! Can you help us fix our carriage?"
Glasses: "Of course! I'd be happy to help. My name is Glasses, by the way."
Zaruya: "We noticed that you seem to be bullied a lot in the village. Why do you put up with it?"
Glasses: "I love learning things, building stuff, and tinkering with machinery... I am a nerd! That's why I get bullied. It's just part of life, I guess."
Zaruya: "Well, we could use someone like you on our journey. How about you come with us? We're explorers, exploring the desert and trying to go beyond!"
Naelina: "I see the benefits of having an engineer in our team, but I also see the danger in bringing an inexperienced fighter with us."
Glasses: "I understand your concerns, but I assure you that I am more than capable of taking care of myself. Plus, being a robot, I can become stronger if I am provided with enough materials and energy."
Zaruya: "That's settled then! Welcome to the team, Glasses!"
Naelina: "Yes, Welcome to the team!"
Glasses: "Thank you! I'm excited to go on this journey with you both."
The duo became a trio and they now had a new companion.
Glasses was overjoyed at the opportunity to leave the village and see the world. He packed his things and joined Zaruya and Naelina on their journey. Glasses used his skills to improve their carriage and invent new gadgets and tools that will help them on their journey. Zaruya and Naelina realized that they had made the right decision in bringing Glasses with them. He had shown himself to be an invaluable member of their team, and they knew that he would be an important ally on their journey.
From that day forward, the trio traveled together, facing new challenges and adventures in the desert. Glasses finally found a place where he belonged, he had friends, and he was no longer bullied for being a nerd but praised for it. He found friends who accepted him for who he was, and he was determined to make the most of his new life.
The team dynamics between Zaruya, Naelina, and Glasses were unique. Zaruya, called "Zaru" was the hot-headed one, always excited for a new challenge and eager to take on any obstacle that came their way. She was a natural leader and was always pushing the team to take risks and go on new adventures. She was also a fierce warrior, and she was always asking Glasses to make her new weapons to play with.
Naelina, on the other hand, was always calm and collected. She was the strategic thinker of the group and always tried to put limits on Zaruya's impulsiveness to ensure that she didn't endanger herself or the team. She was also a powerful swordsman, and she used her powers to summon her familiar Shadow, the pet of the group, to help the team navigate the dangers of the desert.
Glasses, sometimes known as "G" or "big G", was always doing his own thing. He was always tinkering with the carriage or making new tools. He had a vast knowledge of machinery, and he was always coming up with new and innovative ways to improve their equipment. He was the engineer and inventor of the team and his skills were invaluable.
Although they had different personalities and skills, the trio worked well together. They had a strong bond of trust and friendship, and they were always there to support each other. Zaruya and Naelina were always there to protect Glasses from enemies, and Glasses was always there to help them with their gear. They were a team, and they were determined to make the most of their journey together.
