We’re taking a quick break from the flight line to give you a small behind-the-scenes peek at live audio and sound. Live sound can seem pretty easy, anyone can spin knobs and press buttons, right? However, audio production, be it live or studio sound, is very intricate and requires a thorough knowledge of the equipment and how to best use them. Don’t be the arrogant F#%* New Guy (FNG) who lied on their resume, just ask for help, and don’t try to run away from the issue when you mess up. Nothing will send a crowd (and the production team) into a heated frenzy than when an artist(s)’ performance is ruined because of the audio production!
From the creators of the Cancelled for Maintenance Podcast comes a series where we take a comedic, behind-the-scenes look into the gritty, non-glamorous life of aircraft maintenance.
Aircraft maintenance is an extremely rewarding, but very taxing profession. It takes a very driven person to take up this career and excel in it. It has its very low points but has its very high ones as well. Follow along with our three main mechanics and their friends as they deal with the highs and lows to keep planes flying.
