"We're in the vicinity of the city, I'll need a disguise." Sachar looked at his makeup artist, shaking her head in disagreement.
"I don't understand your obsession to hide your beauty."
"Are you candidating yourself to bail me out of jail?"The wanted man was sarcastic.
"Candidate? I'm already in charge." Upon her refusal, the summoner was forced to enter the metropolis barefaced, or almost, he used their luggage to hide his features and eventually juggling not to drop any of it.
The rich girl in a ruffle dress dawdled from stall to store, accompanied by her fatigued personal carrier.
"Get to ride your Tanix for one pouch, today only!" A merchant fervorously presented a motorcycle attached to a wagon for luggage.
"You made me suffer when we had the option to travel comfortably?!" The betrayed sedentary berated.
"I can't drive." The Tharinar had a plausible argument.
"I can!" The ex-law student held her hips."Yet another proof, communication matters."
"Easy maintenance, comfy seats…" The young lady was engrossed, seeing her friend's indifference, the witty merchant explored his interest."Also a compartment for baggage!"
The politician's daughter diligently inspected the vehicle, finding no visible defects."Good, what about the fuel?"
"Affordable! Swamp water." The vendor egged her on."Say the word, the key is yours!"
"I'll discuss it with my business partner first." Isolating themselves, the travelers confabulated."What do you say?"
"Buy it." The stoic man acceded fervidly.
"I was sure you'd say it's a rip off, what happened to your reason?" The ex-law student reviewed.
"Back pain." His afflicted expression condemned the guilty ridden spoiled brat.
"You won't suffer anymore." Lyla covered her mouth, suppressing her torment.
"Throw me the keys!" She launched a pouch, catching it and verifying the contents, the marketer happily obeyed.
The model's daughter changed from her casual dress into a fitting attire, burgundy loose pants plus a white v-neck shirt.
Her full time bodyguard had stored their baggage in the compartment, without delay the owner positioned herself on the newest acquisition.
She motioned for him to sit behind her, hopping on, his intuition detected a dooming variable."You can drive, right?"
"Of course, though I prefer to sit back and let the chauffeur do it." The woman stretched both hands forward.
"What's the point of having a license?" He declared enviously, the pampered girl shrugged.
"I was rich, whatever we do or don't do is to show off the zeroes on our bank account."
"Relax, I am a great driver." It was then they learned her statement solely applied to her world.
"Ahhhhhhh!" A simple switch of the keys, it was all it took for their means of transport to jump into the sky where birds crashed on them, they almost became one of the kind crammed in feathers.
Losing momentum, the bikers braced themselves in terror, the motorcycle plunged on soil where it remained in inertia. They cheered triumphant until the wheels began rolling down the street congested with people, animals and merchandise.
"Duck! Duck!" Heeding his command, the brunette swerved, zigzagging to deviate from the obstacles.
"You could stop anytime, great driver." His comment, embroiled in sarcasm, was transformed into sincere imploration."How about now?!"
"I would! If only I knew how!" The problem to all his solutions cried out.
"Reduce velocity, we'll stationate at some point!" Under his breath, he voiced his concern."At least we should…"
"Good plan!" Accidentally she hit the accelerator, the impatient man screamed in alarm."Stop this thing!"
His dismay infected her, who nervously accelerated even more, Sachar steadfastly ordered."Go faster!"
Her perplexment interrupted her precipitated maneuvering, the Tanix declined in speed, then halted.
"Oh, it worked." Drying the sweat on his forehead, he exhaled.
"... I'll go get a license." The shaking duo got off the horror machine. "Please do."
The lady driver received her license, after weeks of giving heart attacks to her instructors."You're not getting up?"
"I require solid evidence." The pillion passenger said, traumatized.
The brunette did a practical demonstration of normally driving, turning, finalizing with parking.
The woman got off the motorcycle, taking a bow to his applause.
"Call yourself a great driver, you won't be honoring your liar's heritage." The itinerant duo got on the bike.
"Where do you want me to take you?" She turned on the engine.
"Home." The pillion passenger put on his helmet, consequently the driver took off."I'm counting on you, my handsome GPS!"
"GP-S?" He was nonplussed.
"Navigator." Sighing, the woman replied."I forget I'm not from this world."
At a deserted region, an antique building disputed space between the ephemeral dunes. The bikers saw a mature couple.
"Sachar!" A man called out excitedly. "I told you he was too ingenious to get caught."
"My child." Her happy expression turned sour once she paid attention to the driver.
"Who is this?" Not hiding her loathsome gaze, his mother reproved of the spoiled brat.
"Lyla, she had a part in my escape." Her only son introduced the rich girl who spoke friendly."Pleased to meet you."
"I'm Mishal, this is my wife Mahira." His father gladly shook her hand."The pleasure is all ours, right, honey?"
"Yes…" The forced smile disclosed her distaste."Your connection is?"
"Business partners." Sachar resumed.
Hostile, Mahira's gaze pierced her up and down."I can't picture the kind of business someone of your intellect can have."
"Though it's still on scratch, Sachy and I are plotting to rule the world." The brunette retaliated.
Perceiving his wife's explosive temper was about to emerge, Mishal wisely cut their conversation."Let's continue talking inside, it's weird to keep you at the door."
The numerous cramped corridors separated the hosts from guests, allowing the beginning of a duologue.
"Your mother has a improbable way of showing gratitude." The Nyu scorned.
"It's her trademark." Sachar responded humorously."Aside from me and my father, she doesn't trust a living soul."
"Taking a good look at you, you take after your mother." She made fun of him.
"Me? I'm definitely more flexible." He feigned innocence."It would need a lifetime to earn a tiny bit of her trust."
"Very radical." The little sheep was flabbergasted.
"I can't blame her, our own relatives ratted us out for money." The child of the prophecy justified the animosity.
"I'll be as understanding as I can." The politician's daughter promised, her partner raised an eyebrow."Sure."
"Doubting my integrity?" The lady acted scandalized.
"Not a drop of it." The gentleman adjourned the topic in equal fashion.
