Continuing their march into the desert, they explored many ancient ruins and old structures. One day, while exploring one of the ruins, Glasses' new wave detector picked up on a hidden passage. Excited by the possibility of discovering valuable artifacts and relics, they decided to investigate.

Zaruya: "Looks like we found something interesting here, let's check it out."

Naelina: "I can feel some magic energy coming from there, I think it might be an ancient spell or something."

Glasses: "I agree, let's go take a look."

As they made their way through the crumbling stone halls, they suddenly heard the sound of machinery whirring to life. Before they could react, a group of guard bots appeared, their weapons trained on the trio.

Naelina: "Oh no, we have to be careful, they might be dangerous."

Zaruya: "Don't worry, I'll take care of them."

As Zaruya stepped forward, ready to engage the guard bots, Naelina suddenly felt weak. She realized that there were magic stones embedded in the walls that were absorbing her magic energy without her knowing.

Naelina: "Wait, Zaru! The walls are absorbing my magic energy, I can't fight them."

Zaruya: "Don't worry, I got this. Stay back and let me handle it."

With determination in her eyes, Zaruya charged towards the guard bots, her knife at the ready.

As the guard bots opened fire, Zaruya leapt into action. "Leave this to me," she shouted, her knife flashing as she expertly dodged and weaved through the blaster fire. Despite her best efforts, one of the bots managed to land a hit on Naelina, injuring her.

"Naelina!" Zaruya exclaimed, her heart racing with fear. She knew she had to act fast to protect her friend. With a fierce determination, she charged at the bot, using her knife to deflect its blaster bolts. But in the heat of the battle, one of the blaster bolts hit her right arm, causing it to be destroyed.

Zaruya fell to the ground, her right arm missing and her body filled with pain. "Zaruya!" Naelina cried out, running to her side. With what was left of her magic, she used a healing spell to stop the bleeding, but the arm was beyond repair.

"I-I'll be fine," Zaruya said through gritted teeth, trying to hide her pain. "We have to press on." The trio knew that they had to keep moving forward, no matter how difficult it may be.

As the guard bots advanced on the trio, Glasses frantically searched his tool belt for something, anything, that could help. "I need to do something," he muttered to himself. "I can't just stand here and watch them die." Just as the bots were about to fire, Glasses' hand closed around a small device. "Got it!" he exclaimed. He took a small sphere and threw it towards the girls. The device created an energy field around Zaruya and Naelina for a few seconds, enough time to take another device from his belt and quickly begin to modify it, using his skills as a robot engineer to repurpose it into a makeshift weapon. "I hope this works," he muttered, as he aimed the device at the bots. The bots were caught off guard by Glasses sudden attack, their systems overloaded by a sound blast. They stumbled, their movements becoming sluggish as Glasses continued to unleash the full force of his improvised weapon.

With Glasses' new weapon in hand, and Naelina stopping Zaruya's bleeding, the trio fought back against the guard bots with renewed vigor. Zaruya, despite her injury, was a fierce warrior and fought with all her might, she was trained on using her knives with both hands, so losing an arm, while weakening her greatly, did not stop her fighting spirit. Naelina, while weakened, gathered what was left of her power and with her magic and her demon cat familiar Shadow, fought by Zaruya's side, using spells to weaken the guard bots and protect herself and her friends. Together, they were able to take down many of the guard bots, but the fight was still far from over. With the time they gained, glasses was able to hack one of the enemy robots and made it fight its companions, and that gave them the winning edge.

"We did it!" Glasses exclaimed, as the last bot finally shut down. "We're alive!" But their victory was bittersweet, because Zaruya had lost an arm, and she and Naelina collapsed from exhaustion.

Zaruya felt a mix of sadness and anger as she stared at her severed arm lying on the ground. She had always prided herself on her strength and skill as a warrior, and now she felt like a part of her had been taken away. She couldn't help but feel jealous of Naelina's magic powers and her increasing strength, while she was losing power.

As Zaruya lay on the ground, staring at the stump where her arm used to be, tears began to well up in her eyes.

"Don't worry, Zaru," Glasses reassured her. "I'll make you a new arm. And it will be better than the old one."

And so, while the girls recuperated, Glasses set to work. Using his knowledge and expertise as a robot engineer, he started making a new arm for Zaruya. He used the materials he had on hand and the arm of a guard-bot to make it.

 And as they continued their journey through the desert, Glasses continued working tirelessly on her new arm, using parts from fallen guard bots and other machinery they came across.

Finally, the day came when Glasses revealed Zaruya's new arm to her. It was big, heavy and had several attachments and weapons that made it very powerful. It was Glasses' greatest creation so far.

Zaruya was initially hesitant about her new robotic arm, as it felt foreign and unfamiliar to her. But, with Glasses' guidance and encouragement, she began to practice using it in combat. At first, her movements were slow and clunky, and she struggled to coordinate her new arm with her other limbs. But as she continued to train, her movements became smoother and more fluid. She discovered that her new arm was incredibly strong and durable, and it was able to withstand the impact of powerful attacks.

Zaruya thanked Glasses for his help and promised to take good care of her new robotic limb. From that day on, Zaruya's new robotic arm became her most treasured possession, and she always carried it with pride and gratitude. She started liking the idea of being a cyborg, and she was now part beast, part elf, and part robot.

As she continued to practice and adapt to her new arm, Zaruya started to see the true potential of her new robotic arm and began to see it as a powerful tool, rather than a burden. She was happy to see that her new arm made her stronger and more capable than ever before and it was a turning point in her journey. She felt that she really leveled up.
