Asher & Selene

"Hey. It's been 4 we-... What are you doing?" Asher's voice trails off. 

"What's wrong?" Drayus asks, helping Selene off the counter. "A-Aiden… It's been 4 weeks 3 days…" he mumbles, staring at the marks on Selene's neck. 

"Oh come on don't look at me like that" She rolls her eyes, "How do you think you got here?" 

"Maybe we should make another one," Drayus says touching her waist and Asher scoffs, "You don't need another kid you have me." 

"Joking… I'm just joking." Drayus smiles. "Let's wake Aiden up." He shrugs and Asher grins. 

"Wait what? Don't wake him up?" Selene calls after them.

"Aiden wake up" Asher lightly shakes him. "How have his parents been trying to wake him up?" Drayus asks, confused. 

"They've been trying to give him food…" He mumbles before standing up quickly. "Ma! Can you make Aiden a plate?" He calls over the stairs. 

"Is he up?" She yells. "No, not yet!" 

After a few minutes, she brings up a plate of food and he goes back into the room. 

"Aiden. Wake up" he holds a potato wedge at Aiden's mouth. 

"Try putting it in his mouth?" Selene says confused and he opens Aiden's mouth slightly and sticks part of the food in. 

"Maybe I should ask them how exactly they wake him up because this isn't wor-"

"What are you doing?" Aiden mumbles groggily, pushing his hand away. 

"Oh my god- you're up!" Asher says, staring at him. "Mhm. Wide awake…?" He mumbles confused. 

Asher smiles excitedly before leaning in and kissing him.

"Uh oh." Drayus mumbles nudging Selene and she gasps slightly. 

Aiden quickly pulls away standing up. "Sorry, I uhm… I don't like you… Like that?" He touches his lips and Asher's eyes widen.

"Wait- I- I didn't mean to! I was excited and I got carried away-" Asher says quickly standing up. 

"Carried away?" Aiden scoffs. "You just kissed me, Ash" 

"I-It was a spur of the moment thing I swear. You've just been hibernating and-" "How long?" Aiden asks quickly and he pauses, "4 weeks 3 days…" 

"Does my family know? They didn't take me home?" he asks, confused. "I asked them not to" Aiden stares at him, "So you could kiss me when I woke up? I don't care if I was asleep for a year, that's not an excuse Asher…" He mumbles and Asher nods.

"I'm sorry." He says staring at him and Aiden nods slightly. 

"Have you gotten taller?" Selene asks confused and he pauses, "Sometimes hibernating gives me growth spurts…" 

Aiden sighs and puts a hand out for the plate of food and Asher hands it to him before walking away into the bathroom. 

"Aiden…? Your parents said you hibernate because of stress. So if there's anything you need to talk about…" he shakes his head slightly and she nods slightly. 

"They've been coming every couple of days trying to wake you up. So you should call and tell them you're awake when you finish eating."

"I will" he nods slightly.
