Just a note that in spanish, the expression you tell your families is "Te quiero" you can say that to relatives, friends, pets and so on without a romantic connotation. You're expressing how much you appreciate and want them in your life. "te quiero" would literally be "I want you", however, the meaning is more in between "I love you" and "I like you". Maybe like saying "You're important to me" every time you say "Te quiero".
Thus this is the feeling Daitaro is trying to convey when he's saying "I love you, I love you, I love you". Since there's not an english equivalent I felt like explaining the intention behind his words. It's possible it's indeed taken like that but just in case you may find it weird, this is the reason ^^
My native language is spanish thus why I explain a spanish expression. If anyone have a better alternative in english, I accept suggestions to use them in later chapters c:

Thanks for the update and the explanation of 'te quiero', language nuances must be really hard to translate and to keep the feel of your story
