After a few days of recuperation, the second round of the competition began. Starting with 16 participants, all of them looked fierce and determined to win. Among them was Zaruya, and also Eira.

The arena was filled with spectators, eager to see the fierce battles that were to come. Zaruya's first opponent was a massive robot warrior, standing at over 8 feet tall and equipped with an array of weapons and armor. The robot had a fierce look on its face, as it stared down at Zaruya, who stood confidently on the other side of the arena.

The fight began with a roar from the crowd, as the two warriors charged towards each other. Zaruya moved quickly, dodging the robot's initial attacks and striking it with her robotic arm, which proved to be a formidable weapon. The robot retaliated with a barrage of bullets from its built-in machine gun, but Zaruya was able to dodge them with her agility and speed.

The fight was intense and lasted for several minutes, with both warriors exchanging blows and trying to gain the upper hand. Zaruya was able to land a few critical hits on the robot, damaging its weapons and armor, but the robot was still able to fight back.

Finally, in a moment of desperation, Zaruya used all her strength to deliver a powerful punch activating her robotic arm's gear engine, which penetrated the robot's chest and destroyed its power source. The robot fell to the ground with a loud thud, and the crowd erupted in cheers. Zaruya won the fight. She was one step closer to the finals.

Eira stepped into the arena, her heart racing with excitement and adrenaline. She also made it to the second round of the competition, and now it was time to prove her worth against some of the toughest fighters in the city. Her first opponent was a robot assassin, known for his deadly precision and agility. The robot was sleek and streamlined, his body covered in gleaming black metal. He was armed with a pair of energy blades, and his red eyes glowed menacingly as he stared at Eira across the arena.

The crowd roared as the fight began, and Eira charged towards the robot, her robotic body glowing with power. The robot assassin was quick, darting around the arena with lightning speed, his blades flashing in the bright lights. Eira was on the defensive at first, dodging and weaving as she tried to find an opening. She knew that the robot was fast, but she was determined to take him down.

Finally, Eira saw her chance. The robot had overextended himself, leaving an opening in his defenses. Without hesitation, Eira lunged forward and took out her spear. She swung the spear with all her might, striking the robot square in the chest. The robot's body sparked and crackled, and then he fell to the ground, defeated.

The crowd, along with Zaruya, Naelina and Glasses, erupted into cheers as Eira emerged victorious. She did it, she took down one of the toughest fighters in the competition.

            After every contestant's first second round match ended, it was now time for the final 8 matches. Zaruya stepped into the arena for her final 8 fight, she was met with the daunting sight of her opponent. Standing across from her was a samurai-bot, a formidable opponent who was built for battle. The bot stood tall, its sleek and polished metal body reflecting the bright lights of the arena. It held its weapon, a katana. The samurai-bot was famous for its precision and skill.

Zaruya felt a rush of adrenaline as she prepared herself for the fight. She knew that this would be a tough battle, but she was determined to win. She knew that she had to be quick and agile, using her speed and her magnificent arm to her advantage.

The fight began, and the samurai-bot charged towards Zaruya with lightning speed. Zaruya sidestepped the attack and used her robotic arm to strike the bot in the back. The bot quickly turned around and swung its katana at Zaruya, but she was able to dodge the attack and strike the bot with her other arm.

The bot was relentless, and it continued to attack Zaruya with its katana. Zaruya was able to dodge and block most of the attacks, and she knew that she had to be careful. She needed to wait for an opening to strike the robot.

In between the precise slashes and hits, the opportunity presented itself, and Zaruya saw an opening in the bot's defense. She quickly struck the robot with an iron fist, and the bot's systems shut down. The crowd erupted in cheers as Zaruya emerged victorious. Zaruya felt a sense of pride and accomplishment as she stood victorious in the arena.

Eira also won her final 8 match and thus went on along with Zaruya to the final 4. The final four contestants in the competition included Zaruya, the half-beast, half-elf warrior with her powerful robotic arm, Eira, the cyborg elf with her mastery of her spear and agility, a humanoid robot known as the "Red Devil" for its fierce fighting style and red armor, and a demon-human hybrid known as the "Demon's Bane" for his ability to quickly take down opponents with his enchanted sword. Each of these warriors had fought their way through the competition, defeating opponents with their unique skills and abilities. The crowd was on the edge of their seats as they eagerly awaited the final battles to determine the champion.

The match-ups were determined, Zaruya was to go against Demon's Bane, while Eira will face Red Devil. "Meet you at the finals, Zaru!" Eira said.

The fight between Zaruya and Demon's Bane was a fierce and intense battle. Demon's Bane was a powerful demon warrior, who had a reputation for being able to defeat any opponent that stood in his way. He was massive in size, standing at over 7 feet tall, and his body was covered in thick, black demon scales. He wielded a massive sword made of demon bones, and his eyes glowed red with an unearthly power.

Zaruya, on the other hand, was smaller and more agile. She had been training with her robotic arm, and had become quite skilled at using it in battle. She also fought with a knife, and was fast and nimble.

The fight began with Demon's Bane charging at Zaruya, his sword raised high. Zaruya dodged his attack and struck him with her metallic arm, but it barely made a dent in his scales. Demon's Bane laughed and swung his sword with all his might. Zaruya was able to block the attack with her knife, but the force of the blow sent her flying across the arena.

Zaruya quickly got back on her feet and charged at Demon's Bane, striking him with a series of quick and precise attacks. Demon's Bane was able to deflect them with his sword, but Zaruya was able to land a few hits on his arms and legs.

The fight continued in this way for several minutes, with Zaruya and Demon's Bane exchanging blows and trying to gain the upper hand. Zaruya was able to land a few good hits, but Demon's Bane was too powerful and too tough for her to defeat. In the end, Demon's Bane landed a devastating blow to Zaruya's chest, knocking her unconscious and ending the fight.

Despite her loss, Zaruya had fought bravely and proved to be a worthy opponent for Demon's Bane. The crowd roared with applause for the victor, while Zaruya was carried out of the arena on a stretcher.

On the other hand Eira was declared the winner of her match and Zaruya, while a bit jealous, was also happy for her friend and wanted her to win the final.

            The final match of the competition was between Eira and Demon's Bane, two of the most skilled and powerful fighters left in the competition. The crowd was on their feet as the two contestants entered the arena, Eira with her spear, and Demon's Bane with his sword.

The match began and Eira immediately went on the offensive, using her spear to try and keep Demon's Bane at bay. However, Demon's Bane was quick to action, using his sword's powerful blows to attack Eira. The two fought fiercely, exchanging blows and dodging each other's attacks.

Eira's training gave her an edge in speed, but Demon's Bane's strength and experience as an elite hunter proved to be a frightening challenge. Eira tried to use her metallic spear to block his attacks, but Demon's Bane's sword was able to blow anything in front of him with ease, so Eira had to evade the hits.

As the battle raged on, Eira began to tire, her movements becoming slower and her attacks less precise. Demon's Bane sensed this and began to press his advantage, raining down powerful strikes on Eira. But she was not one to give up easily, she used her spear to make a final strike on Demon's Bane. She aimed for his chest but he managed to block it with his sword, then she used her fist to strike his head, which was her main target. Demon's Bane got knocked out, and Eira was declared the winner of the competition.

The crowd erupted in cheers as Eira was awarded the prize and declared as champion. She proved herself to be a worthy opponent and a true warrior. As for Zaruya, while she lost the competition, she gained a new and powerful friend.

To celebrate,  everyone sat together with Eira for one final meal before their departure, and she started telling them her story.

"I was on a mission to hunt down a group of rogue demons that had been terrorizing my village," Eira began, her voice filled with determination. "But they were more powerful than I anticipated. They beat me half to death and left me to die in the desert."

Zaruya and Naelina listened intently as Eira spoke of her miraculous survival and how she was rescued by a robot tribe that healed her by replacing most of her body and organs with machinery. She was reborn as a cyborg, with powers beyond her wildest dreams. Today, she stands as a loyal member of that robot tribe called the Iron Scavengers.

Eira's story touched everyone at the table, and they all listened intently as she spoke. They could see the fire in her eyes, and the determination in her voice. She was a true warrior, and they all respected her for that.

As the group sat around the table, finishing their meal, Zaruya couldn't help but wonder about Eira's past. She turned to the cyborg elf and asked, "Eira, I couldn't help but notice that you don't seem to have any plans to return to your original elf village."

Eira's expression grew somber as she spoke. "My village, like many others, is made up of pure elves. They do not accept those like me, who have been altered by machinery."

"But why?" asked Naelina, her confusion evident.

"They see it as a corruption of our natural state," Eira explained. "But for me, it was a second chance at life. The robots saved me when I was left for dead in the desert, and I will always be grateful to them for that."

"Are pure elves that prejudiced?" asked Zaruya.

Eira nodded, her eyes softening. "Yes, you will understand one day if you ever visit a pure elves village," she added with a hint of sadness in her voice.

The trio sat in silence for a moment, each lost in their own thoughts. They knew that Eira's story was just one example of the discrimination that existed in their world, and they couldn't help but feel a sense of empathy for her. Then Zaruya broke the silence and started telling her about their journey, and wanting to reach the borders of the desert and even go beyond.

"So, what's your next destination?" Eira asked.

"We haven't decided yet," responded Naelina, "do you have any suggestions?"she continued.

Eira then searched in her bag and picked up a map. "Here, why don't you go to this place" she said while pointing at a  location on the map she just took out. "Here lies an ancient tower, home for a wizard robot, tell him I sent you, he'll be very welcoming", she continued, "I think you will gain something from visiting him," she said while letting out a tiny laugh, like she could predict what was going to happen.

The trio looked at the map and saw where the tower was located. They thanked Eira for her suggestion and decided to set off for their new destination in a few days.

As they prepared for the journey, Glasses went to work on their carriage, adding new features that would help them navigate the rough desert in a more optimal way. He also made sure to stock up on supplies, including extra fuel for the engine and food for the journey.

After two days, they set off. The journey was long and difficult, but they were determined to reach the tower. They encountered storms and dangerous desert monsters, they fought through them, determined to reach their destination.
