* 'Er' is a traditional Chinese term of address for one's junior, commonly from father to son or elder relative to younger, before the addressee's coming-of-age. The equivalent is adding an 'y' on the end of a name (E.g Dan-Danny)
This is probably the first actual adapting of historical anecdotes in my webcomic. It's written that when he was young, Cao Cao would often misbehave with his friends and his uncle would inform his father each time. Then one day Cao Cao faked a fit and his worried uncle brought his father. Cao Song arrived to see Cao Cao fine and stopped listening to his cousin when he informed on Cao Cao.
I hope the way I adapted the tale is amusing.
Cao Cao Aman, hero, tyrant, saviour, butcher, loyal, treacherous, wise, cruel, all these words and more have built his reputation.
Yet so little is known of how he started and what sort of world he was born into, what created the man he would become and why.
This comic is a historical fiction that tells the childhood of the famous Ancient Chinese Warlord Cao Cao, the major power-player of the Three Kingdoms Period. It retells historical instances through the eyes of various characters and touches upon instances that were as timely then as they are now.
If you've heard of Cao Cao, I hope to interest you with a new perspective on his life and the actions he took.
If you've never heard of Cao Cao, I hope to interest you all the same with this obscure but significant showcase of history.
Enjoy.
