The latch opens and he comes up to my room. The door creaks open slowly as lightning strikes and lights up the sky and the thunder roars. Jae-Suk emerges from the shadows.

"I just didn't want you to be alone. It's getting rough outside. I know what you want with the space and all, but I am here for you, Kyliamira. Please allow me to be." He says as he opens the door and walks to my bedside. "What do we do if the power goes out everything is electronic?! What are the generators and fail-safes like?!" I ask him having a minor freak-out session. Storms since childhood and dark clouds terrify me, but nothing else seems to. "The generators are world-class enough power to run a subdivision they are a product of Tan Telecom and you designed the code for them. We will have full facilities and the elevators fully functional. So don't worry. Why don't you get dressed and we will go down to the store and get some snacks from the convenience store." Jae-Suk says with a smile. Jae-Suk and I spend hours watching movies, eating fried chicken with Soju and beer, and playing games I brought from America namely Dirty minds and Cards Against Humanity and the like, We played drunken checkers and Jenga. We also cuddled and wound up talking while eating some cookies I baked and I introduced him to Cream Lemon Chello and adult Italian Soda. I fall asleep in Jae-Suk's arms.

I drift away into a dark tunnel. It is so dark I cannot see in front of my face. At the end of the tunnel, I see the moonlight. The light blinds me. I feel someone grabbing me by my arm pulling me toward it. I cry out loud, but no one is there. I hear laughing and more laughter as I try to look around. There are arms grabbing me and caressing me all over. The voices calling from the darkness urge me to stay. The ground becomes soft as I try to run. Fighting through the grip of hands from what seems to have spawned from everywhere I step into the moonlight free of the tunnel. There in the distance is Jae-Suk walking with an adorable little boy. He looks to be about 3 or 4 years old. As I walk toward them, the hands that held me so tightly in the tunnel materialize from the shadows gripping me tighter than before. The ground beneath me fractures and then lets out a ghastly odor of sulfur and burning carnage. Their claws became literally hooks to my flesh. I can feel it as real as I could pinch you right now and you would feel it. I scream with all my might "Please help me. Jae-Suk! Oh God please help me! Somebody!" as I struggle to break fingers now tethered to my flesh, they seem to keep regenerating, but it is muted as Jae-Suk and the child walk on. The child turns in my direction as I am being jerked into the ground. I frantically wake grabbing the air in Jae-Suk's embrace. 

"You're safe! YOU'RE safe! Just breathe baby girl...Take some deep breaths, Okay. You are safe!" He says struggling to hold on to me without harm. I look into his eyes and he felt my fear. I held on to him crying into his shirt. What the fuck was that?! I never have bad dreams. I have never dreamed like this before my trip here...To be completely honest, I have only been dreaming of more bizarre things ever since I met Jae-Suk. I had my first nightmare tonight. My heart races. I feel the warmth of Jae-Suk's body holding me. His scent is intoxicating as he holds onto me. "What were you dreaming? This storm must really be affecting you. Let me get you a drink." He says trying to get up from the couch but I squeeze him tighter. He relaxes back and holds on to me kissing my forehead. "You're safe, Kyliamira. I won't let anything hurt you." He whispers to me. I take a few deep breaths letting my fear subside. "How about that drink?" I say to him now releasing my hold. He walks over to my bar and grabs my Johnnie Walker Double Black and holds up the bottle and grabs 2 glasses after taking off his tear-soaked shirt. He pours us each a swill no rocks. He hands me my glass and nestles in next to me on the couch again. I rest my head on his chest while holding my glass and running it slowly across my lips in deep thought. What is going on here? I think to myself but fall quickly distracted by that energy again from before. 

I feel his lips against my hair as he rests his cheek on my curls. I close my eyes and drift off to sleep."Kyliamira! Wake up!" Jae-Suk yells at me. I jump up startled almost falling off the couch. As I adjust my eyes I cannot believe what I am seeing. There are sigils glowing on all the windows. I stand up and look around the room and they are on every entranceway as well. Jae-Suk seems relatively calm. "What the FUCK are those?!" I yell looking with eyes wide. "The Fates are here." He says reaching for my hand. "Don't be afraid. They are here to help. Something must have happened." He says looking into my eye with a reassuring gaze. "WAIT...WHAT?! FATES? Jae-Suk-Are you talking about Greek Myth-ol-" I start another freak-out session but it's interrupted by these 3 goddess-like figures holding hands with their heads tilted to the heavens quickly turning into vestiges before us. Jae-Suk caresses the side of my face and transfers the same protection script that was given to him by the Fated sister that visited him at his home. I could feel it coursing through me like diving into cool waters on the hottest day of summer. I almost wanted to cry when the Goddess-like figures dissipate and the sigils disappear. I feel like all of this is oddly familiar...

"That must have been all 3 Fates. One of them came to me, right before meeting you, Kyliamira. When we were created on earth from the Cosmic Birther of heavens and all things you partook of the vine as then did I in your stead. You were held captive by Hades and The Fates were the only ones who could help me save you in our first life. Once I got you free we fled the Garden and lived in the world. You took your life to save me and our children by surrendering yourself to The king of the Shadowmongers. You never gave him your heart though. That has always belonged to me." He said to me while positioning me to sit down. "What are you saying? Shadowmongers? Jae-" I went to proceed but he stopped me. "The dream you had was from the day you surrendered. You were fighting to say goodbye. He tore you away from the earth as our son watched. By the time I got to you, you were gone." He said stroking my hair and moving closer to me. As I sit here trying to gather myself, I remember everything. From every life, we ever had with or in the course of finding one another. "Aadam? Is it truly you?! I would know those eyes anywhere!" I say with a face full of tears. "Evette my love...I have waited lifetimes to hear you say my name. I am he, flesh of my flesh. I wanted to tell you at the house so badly but you weren't ready. When we had the visions outside I knew then. The fates showed me everything and you also you were just not able to process it due to the Nanos you took. The sigils you felt me pass to you melted those away. Now you know everything. My love, we have to stop them now. This is our last chance." He says holding my face in his hands and kissing my tears while his flowed down his cheeks. 

We sit on the couch and talk about the lives we had and all the times we came close to finding one another. Often we were hidden under each other's noses. The universe was cruel in that way and would not allow the Fates to intervene because they were seduced by the dark one's power. He gave them kingdoms of their own in exchange to leave this realm to him. They sadly agreed to this treachery and forsook the greatest creation in the cosmos. Humanity. For the next couple of hours we just lay and hold one another just getting lost in the feel of being together knowing who we are. "It must have been terrible for you there. I couldn't do anything to help you, but I will never be that helpless again. I will protect you. I love you, Evette. We made love and she felt like the Eve I know. Her touch still broke me and her, everything, never left me. We shower as she hums the tune she used to hum to our son, Abel. He was working with me migrating the sheep when she was taken by the King of Shadows. He cried for her for months and never forgot that moment. How could he? I'm sure now that she knows who she is her heart aches for him. She knew his fate in her new life as a bible story. He was murdered at the tender age of 15 by his twin brother Cain that later became corrupted by the King of Shadows. We dress and go back downstairs sitting on the couch catching up on our past lives and the amazement of all this. I cannot stop looking at her. "I love you then, now, and forever. You know that right? It will never diminish. You understand me? I will not rest until you are safe and free of all this, Eve." I say to her as I kiss her like it is the last time I would ever. I have just missed her that much. Could you imagine being away from your soulmate this long even in your world of instant gratification...Can you? 

My phone rings. "Sajang, I have been trying to get a hold of you for hours. Is everything alright?" He asked sounding very concerned. "Where are you? Your track is not working." He said now less anxious after hearing the calm in Jae-Suk's voice. Knox was on his way in a tundra all-terrain vehicle since the city was having a blizzard of apocalyptic proportions. He was already en route to the Tan Telecom Corporate Suites. As he pulled into the parking garage. He got a feeling of ease. This entire building has been warded by the Fate Sisters. "They were here," Knox said to himself. He hurried up the stair half the way and caught the elevator to the 28th floor. He wanted to be calm upon arrival not to worry Kyliamira. "I'm in Kyliamira's unit. Come over. 4953# okay." Knox comes to the door and tries to regain his composure. When he opens the door, Kyliamira runs to his arms and jumps into them. "Aba! It's really you!" She cries as Knox folds into this moment and his demeanor softens at the feel of holding his daughter. She finally knows everything. He thought to himself.  

"Where is Em-ma?" Kyliamira says stepping back and holding her father's hands. "Aba? Say something...please..." She says eagerly looking into the eyes of this rather large man. His eyes well up and he pulls her in crying as his tears soak her shoulder. Jae-Suk stands back in awe. "So that is where she gets it from." He says chuckling at our crying faces. He looked over to Jae-Suk who stood there stunned. Knox was the last person he expected to see this night. "Come, sit, are you thirsty/hungry? You can stay in my suite tonight Knox. I will be staying with my wife if that is alright?" Knox was astonished at Jae-Suk's gesture. They both really remember everything. "Of course son. We have to make sure to keep up appearances to the outside world. Niels will need to be notified, Ev-I-mean Kyliamira. I don't know what to call you...I just know you have been my daughter from my first life to this one." Knox said while pouring shots for the 3 of them. "Here's to lives and hearts being made whole. Getting my daughter back and my son-in-law. I have waited for all this for so long. Not to mention US giving these shadow bastards what's deserved and may they deserve EVERYTHING they get! " Knox let out a big laugh as they clink glasses and drink. 

"Wait, Niels knows? This explains so MUCH!" Kyliamira says as she sets her glass down motioning for another shot. Knox laughs loudly. I step away to my suite to retrieve the scroll from the safe. I can feel the energy surrounding me. It is the same feeling I had when we met. I take a deep breath and just start walking towards her. "I have something I need to show you both," I say as I open the scroll by pricking my finger on the needle mechanism to open it. The scroll does what it did before. Reading the script and just as mesmerizing as it was the day at my house. The two of them stand their eyes glowing white as they are entranced and receiving the revelation meant for them each from it. I can't believe she is back with me. I will never let her go again.  

The light show finishes and they both fall to the floor. They levitated and it was the most magical sight. I quickly help them both to the couch and give them bottled water. Trying to catch his breath, Knox says "You went through all that alone. This was the night before the brunch, right? That explains why you were tired on the drive to Gangnam. That was the first time you ever took a nap on my drive." I nod yes. "This is also the reason that Ev-Kyliamira ran from the event at my parents. She had visions when we touched hands in the sunroom. I've never seen someone move that quickly with grace and manage to say goodbye without disturbing the room. Everyone seemed to think you had work to do, not necessarily that there was something wrong. Although I heard a maid tell you she hoped you feel better. Knox, who was she?" I asked curiously. 

"Kim Mae-ling is her name. She is new to the roster from last year's hiring pool. Very quiet but quite a worker. Do you think she is a watcher like Niels?" He asked me looking puzzled. "She is definitely a watcher, but for which side?" I said shaking my head. Niels is calling me. "Niels?" I say answering his call. "Ah, Miss Macena-Lugo. I see the towers are back in functioning order. Are you alright?" He says not knowing what I now know. "Yes, I am just fine. How are you fairing with this storm?" I ask him. "I am just fine, Madam. I will allow you to rest. Please ring if you need anything." He says ending the call. He is supposed to be at the Tan Corporate Suites building tomorrow. I think I will cancel that. 

"Now that we are indeed protected and safe. Let's try and get some rest shall we? Aba, I will walk you to my Suite. My love, I will return shortly." I say to Kyliamira as I walk to the door with her father after one more good night hug is had between them. "I love you both," I whisper as I exit with Knox and shut the door behind us. We talk strategy as we walk down the hall. Setting up times to train tomorrow. We have much to prepare for. Things will start to move quickly and we have to prepare for it. "I know how to kill these sons of bitches this time once and for all!" Jae-Suk says as they approach the door. "We will talk more tomorrow. Goodnight son." Knox says giving him a hug. Jae-Suk walks down the hallway back to Kyliamira's suite and opens the door. She is standing there with only lettuce as fig leaves covering herself in one spot in particular. She takes a bite of a plum as he steps inside. "You wanna bite?" She says smiling big. "Really?!" Jae-Suk says nodding in delight, "Everywhere!" He says biting his lip and smiling that smile as shuts the door walking over to her while disrobing. He kneels at her feet and lifts her leg resting it slowly over his shoulder as he caresses her other leg. As she feels the warmth of his tongue, Kyliamira giggles and begins to moan...
