There are many studies that show stubborn weight wont drop until you deal with certain emotional trauma or mental blocks. Including ones that have been avoided and ignored through the years, and especially those done through binging/starvation and other eating disorders.
Turns out I've got pockets of emotional baggage to work through as I lose this weight. Facing these feelings will be a challenge, but I know I can do it, and it'll be more than worth it in the end!
