"Young master Noah?" She was startled from the sight of the silver wolf that is standing few feet away from her. 

"Is that you Mei?" I asked as I can feel my entire body trembled from the sight in front of me. Her hair was longer and she was skinnier than she was 5 years ago but her scent was still the same. Calming, refreshing but also strong in scent like usual. I took one step toward her but only for her to take one step back. 

"Mei, do you know this young wolf?" Kayla asked as she watches our movement. Mei who had taken a step back stopped her track.

"Mrs. Kayla I would like to introduce you to young master Noah. The little duke of Crawford." 

"Young master Noah? The little duke of Crawford? Wait you mean THE little duke Noah Crawford?!?!?" 

"Yes." Kayla was surprised and soon she was facing toward me as she bowed down her head. 

"My apology for not recognizing you, young master Noah."

"Its ok." I barked as I did not break eye contact with mei who was standing still.

-- Thilde's pov--

"Young master!!!" I screamed out as I ran toward the forest as I followed mei's scent that was lingering on my cap that got stuck to Noah. As I continued to run, Noah's scent got strong and my guess was right. He somehow found her and I was not happy about it.

"My apology for not recognizing you, young master Noah." Said Kayla as she kept her head down. Noah barked as he kept staring at Mei. I stayed silent as I knew, I couldnt keep these two apart any longer now that he knows she's here. I was able to keep her hidden away from him for 5 years as he was staying in the capital but duke Crawford wanted him to come to the country side as a warning, he need to learn how to behave. I was mad when they transfered me here to trained the knight as I were gonna be away from young master noah. But just last month when I was patrolling, i happen to bumped into Mei. Who was wondering around the street. I couldnt help but myself but take pity on her. I had to take the responsibility for taking her away from young master Noah. Even though I knew it was not my fault.

"Young master Noah please. You need to go back home." Said Mei as she inches farther away from him. I can see Kayla being uncomfortable and confused of what is the relationship between our young master and Me I. I wanted to stay still and watch what she will do about this situation but my feet moved on its own. 

--Mei's pov-- 

I watched Mrs. Kayla kept her head down as I feel Noah's eyes on me, watching my every movement. The gazed on his eyes, made my heart fluttered as I swallowed the saliva that was building up in my mouth as we continued to stared at one answer. I flinched and snapped back to reality, the moment Noah took one step toward me.

"Young master Noah please. You need to go back home." I panicked and took a step back. Kayla who had her head down glanced up and I can tell she wanted to asked but was afraid what would happen to her if she dared to. "Sir thilde will be hard if he heard you were here--"

"Young master." I was startled when I heard his voice and we finally broke free of our contact and were now looking at thilde who was walking toward us from the forest or at least I was the only one who was looking at him.

"Sir Thilde."

"So this is where you ran off to." He sigh of relief but also disappointed as he kept his eyes on me. I knew what he was disappointed with as I looked down in despairs. 

"Excuse me, I need to go now. I. I. I need to leave as I can feel my heat coming--" I looked up quickly and my head turned to Noah who was staring at me. "I did not mean to said that." I panicked as I regretted of what I had just said as I can feel my body burning up from his stares. I quickly retreated without looking back.

"MEI!!!" He barked loudly as he tried to run after me but sir Thilde stopped him from doing so. I can hear Noah growling as sir Thilde groans from his bites.

"I'm sorry Noah. I really wanna see you but I cannot." I weep as I reached the front door of my little house. I leaned on the front door as mt back slides down the door as tears steam down my face. The tight feeling in my chest was unabearable as I clench onto my dress. "Why did you show up now of all time? How did you find me?" I asked many question to myself. I looked up to the ceiling as I tried to stopped myself from crying but only to fail to do so. As I knew I missed my little wolf. His scent that was musty but also calming to the nose. "How I wished I could of at least hug you."

--noah's pov--

I watched Mei's back disappear from my sight and the rage but also despairs builded up instantly as Mei was no longer in my sight. I dashed after her only to be stopped by Thilde. I glared at him and started barking.

"GET OUT OF MY WAY THILDE!!! MY MATE IS RUNNING AWAY FROM ME!!! I CAN'T LET HER ESCAPE FROM ME AGAIN!!" I barked loudly only for him to hold me down, stopping me from running after her. I got wven more mad and bit his arm as I taste the metallic taste of his blood being drawn by my teeth. 

"No young master. You can't. Miss Mei will not like it if you followed her. You must control yourself, please young master." He begged. I couldn't hear a single words he said as the only thing in my mind was getting myself to her. I needed to be near her. To calm her down. To know that she is safe no matter what but no one is letting me. Why? So many things was going through my head that I couldnt stand it.

"Y-young master Noah. Mei is having a hard time right now and she needs to be alone at this time. Please do understand." Kayla begged as her trembling body stayed in place. I paused for a second and letted go of Thilde and walked away.

"Young master?" 

"Only this time, I will listen and go home. Only this one time. Next time I am claiming what is mine, do you understand!!!" Thilde and Kayla bowed their heads down not knowing what was going on in my mind and what I was going to do as I walked myself back to the mansion with Mei in my mind. 

"Sir Thilde, did you find young Mas-- oh you did. Hello young master, welcome back." Greeted Alfred as he helped lead me back into my room. The moment we were by the front door of my bed chamber. He stopped Thilde. "You do know, you didn't need to follow us right?"

"I just wanted to make sure our young master is back into his room."

"Yes but you need to get that nasty wound treated first before anything else." He shrugged.

"I will do so after I dropped young master off to his chamber."

"Well we're here so go see a doctor already geesh. Hate the scent of blood"

".... Says the knight who spills the most blood on the battlefield but you're right. I will go get this treated. So I will be on my way now. But Young master just know that she needs her space right now so just wait a little longer alright." Said Tilde before he left. It was was just us two left. Alfred bend down and was on one knee. I was confused as why he haven't left yet.

"Young master, if you want. When I am on duty to watch you. I let you go see her." Alfred whispered and my ears perked up as my tail wagged happily.

"Really?" I barked loudly making Alfred panicked.

"Shhhh. We dont want sir Thilde to know. So keep quiet about this." I nodded my head, happily as my heart started to beating rapaidly from hearing his offer. "Now young master the next time Im your escort, I will take you to the forest as an excuse to train you so you can go see her, Kay." Alfred winked.
