Lax was currently in a crisis, he was deciding whether to accept their offer or not. After the angel arrived, she said the same thing to Lax and Nia as the angel said in South America, except she proposed something else to his sister, and that was to become an apostle of the Goddess of Lightning and Thunder.
Lax was offered too, but she didn't tell me anything about who the god was, so I didn't readily accept their offer like what my sister did.
She didn't say anything when Lax chose to stay silent and just continued walking until they arrived at a hall. The halls they arrived at were the same as what you see in a castle, and at the end of the hall, Lax saw three empty thrones.
"My lord, they have arrived." Evangelina said while she bowed her head and stayed like that until three people suddenly arrived and sat on the throne.
"You may leave." The person sitting on the middle throne spoke, and the angel in front of us quickly disappeared.
Lax and Nia turned their gazes at the three figures sitting at the end of the hall, and they were shocked because nothing was there. Lax didn't activate his [Appraisal] nor his [Domain Sense] as it might increase the chance of him getting found out.
"W-Where?"
"We are here, young girl, though you won't be able to see us no matter what you try."
Interrupting Nia's words, the voice from before spoke, answering what Nia was thinking about.
"Nice to meet you, young girl; I am the Goddess of Lightning and Thunder, and let's get straight to the point, which is that I would like you to become my apostle, as I've noticed that you have a great affinity for lightning." Do you accept my offer?" She said this, identifying herself and offering Nia to become her apostle.
Nia turned to look at Lax.
"Lax..."
Lax turned his head towards the voice and nodded his head, seeing that Nia smiled and looked at the Goddess of Lightning and Thunder.
"I want to." She replied to what the goddess offered.
"Good, now let's go. I will personally train you." The Goddess spoke, and she disappeared along with Nia beside me, and I was left alone with the two remaining unknown gods.
After they left, Lax used his [Domain Sense] and looked around the hall from left to right and then towards the thrones.
"!!!"
At the three thrones, the middle was empty, however, Lax saw two eyes, one on the left and one on the right, and they were staring at him as if they could see everything about him.
"Lax Yandear..." A voice sounded, and it reached Lax's ears, he narrowed his eyes, but the voice continued to speak.
"... A man of the past, present, and future, a man full of will and determination, a man who will do anything to protect his people, a man who can be so ruthless yet at the same time be merciful, he was someone who single-handedly protected Earth from other worlds, he was someone so terrifying that he was feared by all the people he fought, Lax Yandear, a human of Earth, and the person who was called... a menace."
"Was that a good introduction of your past Lax Yandear?" Another voice questioned playfully.
"Yeah, that was so good it made me remember all the bad things the happened in my past life." Lax retorted sarcastically.
"Lax Yandear, we are the God of Space and God of Time, so we know everything, be it the past, present, or future, so I advise you to speak truthfully." The God of Space spoke.
"You have regressed to the past by some unknown method, and it will change the course of the future, and even we, the Gods of Space and Time, can't do anything about it as we cannot interfere with the universe." The God of Time added.
"So what are you gonna do to me now?" Lax asked.
"We, I, the God of Space..."
"..and I, the God of Time, will..."
""Take you, Lax Yandear, as our apostle.""
