"I want someone to go to a rock and roll concert with" A boy whispered as he closed his eyes so tight only to release the pressure to a sort of squint because people are here and you are a man. Gr.
A young at heart lady walked by, developing a smile after hearing that. Oh to be young, she thought almost out loud, secretly wanting to let him know he would find someone eventually. Hopefully.
When she looked at him, the only thing that came to mind was that he had such a strong physique.
His eyebrows looked as if it was naturally trimmed to perfection and they were very noticeable but in a gentle proportional way.
His eyes were light pale eye with a hint of brown as if anything could happen to its pigment yet effortlessly as though it would never change for the life of it.
His nose was a little long in a way that bought attention to his chiseled jawline which pretended to be hidden by a 1 and a half day beard.
His lips were precise in the context of I can talk but all you will want is more.
Of course, he had muscles hidden again by his dark flannel and tight jeans.
His shoes were the I picked the first thing I saw but probably unconsciously did it ironically just to prove I am hotter and better than you shoes you got from Amazon.
As air blew towards their direction, the lady instinctively touched her short pixie gray hair. She smiled, and made a right walking on her second side of the fountain.
There would four sides in case you do not know how squares are.
"I want someone to go to a Rock and Roll concert with" a Vanessa spoke.
This wish was a bit different from the previous. This time it was as though the coin was in fact a dandelion and she was in some field of some kind.
The girl was extremely beautiful and that was the best way to describe her.
Her makeup was on point yet so normal. Men would probably have no idea she was wearing any, but this grandma was full of experiences. She knew.
She gasped. Two people wanting to go to a rock and roll concert together, and they do not seem to know each other.
She had to.
The young at heart lady's tracks died immediately she reached the black lady.
"Excuse me, girl" The grandma gave Vanessa a warm smile as soon as she saw Vanessa was paying attention to her.
"Yes, ma" Vanessa pushed part of her curly afro away from her face.
"I apologise for some of my nosiness, but I promise I will not waste your time." The grandma looked at Vanessa's expressions, making sure to think through her every look. "I heard your wish at this fountain. Permit me to discuss it with you?"
"Yes, ma. You can."
"You wish for someone to go with you to a rock and roll concert"
Vanessa gave a thoughtful smile to the grandma. She did not know what to think, and honestly everything was happening a bit too fast for her. "I did."
"I have someone who you could go to the rock and roll concert with." The old woman turned her back to match the turn of Vanessa's back. "Do you see that guy over there? Sorry I do not want to point."
Vanessa nodded. "I do?"
"Well, he is looking for someone to go to a rock and roll concert with as well. Oh, please-just-" Before Vanessa could say something, the grandma grabbed her hand and took her over to the boy. Note how the woman did not make a full 360, but a 270. Only three sides conquered.
"Excuse me, young man" Stella motioned Darren over and he politely joined the conversation. "You two happen to have the same exact wish in the same exact way on the same exact day, let alone time. Now, I have come to think it is more than just a coincidence that this is happening, but it appears to me that you two should go to a rock and roll concert together."
"I-" Vanessa stammered.
"I would love to." Darren smiled, switching glances between both woman. "Come on, it would be fun." I would come over to make a grandma happy, he thought.
Vanessa thought it through again. "Sure!"
"Sounds like we have a plan. You guys should exchange number, so you can work out the details. I will keep in touch." The lady left with.
"Nice to meet you"
"Machu Picchu"
He smiled.
She smiled.
They would come over as long as the grandma is happy.
Two in a row.
Let's hope for more.
