The star went chasing. It did not find anyone to hug.
The bomb came arising. It found too many to bomb.
Ring. Ring.
Ring. Ring.
"Vanessa?"
"Chelsea?"
"Vanessa!"
"Chelsea!"
"Omg. Where are you, Vanessa?" Chelsea pressed the phone so close to her ear. "I am heartbroken."
"The world..." Vanessa held her phone tight. "We just got born, and now..."
"It is over."
"Almost 20 years..."
"Down the drain"
Vanessa let out a gulp. "We have to go to this hotel."
"We have to. It is going to be the last day of our lives. It better be good."
"What happens after?"
"Hell if I know, but it will be fun."
"I can not wait for whatever is next, if you are here."
"If he is there, you mean" Chelsea shot.
The doorbell rang. Vanessa raced to the door, took a deep breath and opened the door.
"You ready?"
Vanessa smiled politely. She combed through her hair. "Yes, Chelsea."
She closed the door behind her, and enters the car with Chelsea.
They arrived at the hotel.
"Is this the fountain?" Chelsea asks. "Yep. It is the fountain."
"The world is about to end and we are looking at the second best fountain in the world."
"I guess this is the end of my youth" Chelsea remarked.
Time passes by, and it is night time.
Chelsea and Vanessa are the only ones in the hotel. Everyone evacuated to be with their family.
"Text him again" Chelsea almost screams in pain.
"I have" Vanessa yells at her phone. "Why isn't he replying?"
"Deep breath, Vanessa. Deep breath."
The closest thing she had to a spouse left at the wreck.
If the world was over, you could come over... right
