Maria's Pov 

Teams 3 stand guard outside team 5 protect the the people as we get them in the the trucks" I said "there's no need for that" an unfamiliar voice rang out.

"Who the hell are you?!" Tiffany from team 3 yelled. "What's your power" the strange asked as his eyes began to glow. I turned to see Tiffany now looking like a sort of robot. "Zero gravity" she answered. he smiled and looked up. "float yourself up to the roof and when you get to the top drop your self" he said looking back at her. 

she then began to slowly float off the ground "Tiffany no" I yelled along with everyone else trying to stop her. before we knew it she reached the ceiling "Tiffany please don't!" I yelled when suddenly she dropped herself. within seconds she on on the ground, she was so blooded it wasn't certain if she was dead or alive but we all assumed the worst. 

"anyone else?" the strange man asked.

TOMS POV

since Maria and Daniel left I was left in charge of things, which against better judgement was going horribly wrong. 

"Sir Tiffany blanchet from team 3 just flat lined" Lincoln said turning to me from his desk. "what do you mean she flat lined. "I mean she flat lined as in died sir" he replied. "damn it" I said.

Arianna's pov

"Miss Arianna?" someone said from behind me "who are you?" I asked "I'm Taylor" it seems there's a slight problem and I'm afraid Tom is only making it worse" she said. "what do you mean?" I asked once more "we lost contact with the away team and Tiffany from team 3 flat lined" she answered "take me to where Tom is" I said and she nodded.

I filled her down steps and a long hallway before we reached what looked like a large computer room. "how many teams do we have left here!" I said bursting through the door" your not supposed to be here" he said "HOW MANY!" I snapped. "18 are her 2 are in the field" he answered "which ones?" I asked "3 and 5" he said. "Here's what's gonna happen teams 1,2,4 and 6 are coming with me, on a rescue mission, I want teams 10, 13, and 20 to go about a mile out of the headquarters and surround us they will be our first defense if they come here and the rest will stay here to protect everyone else got it "YES MA'AM" they yelled "we leave in 5 minutes" I said "what the hell do you think your doing?" Tom said grabbing my arm "what you can't" I said "a girl is dead..." "that's not confirmed" he interrupted "the moment something went wrong you should have sent reinforcements, but you hesitated, I'm doing what need to be done deal with it" I said pulling my arm out and then walking away.

MARIAS POV

"stop this David" Daniel said walking forward. "Danny how long has it been?" David asked "5 years?" he he asked again. "hasn't been long enough" Daniel answered. "come on now little brother don't be like that" he said "get to to the point what the do you want?" Daniel asked annoyed. "fine here's my offer since we're family, give me the people you were trying to help, and I will let you and your people go" he said "I'll give you a few minutes to think about" he continued.

"I don't think that will be necessary" someone said from behind me. I turned to see Arianna walking up behind us. "Arianna" David said with a smile "it hasn't even been a day, did you miss me that much already?" he asked "only in your dreams she replied "why are you here?" I asked grabbing her arm as she began to walk past me "why do you think" she said ripping her arm from my grasp. she then through her arm up and a huge gust of wind blew, pushing David against the wall. "I'm here to kill this bastard" she continued.

ARIANNA'S POV

"I gotta say I didn't expect you to break the control so easily or even at all" David said I dropped him to the ground and he fell to his knees. he began to cough as I slowly began sucking the air out of his lungs "I've been waiting 5 years for this day" I said. "the pain you put me through, the suffering you caused, the people you forced me to kill, none of us deserved that. yet we were forced to succumb to a fate that you chose. this time someone will choose your fate" I spoke as he continued she gasp for air.

"you know I heard that the human brain can last 120 seconds without oxygen before the person passes out and goes into a coma. but you're not going to be that lucky see as you gasp for air and I slowly take the oxygen out of your lungs and keeping just enough for you to live" I said angrily "you wanted my power and that is what's going to kill you" I finished. suddenly I felt a sharp pain in the side of my stomach. 

I looked down to see a long sharp piece of metal sticking through. "Get away from her!" Maria yelled as she threw fire at the person who stabbed me. I wasn't able to move, I could barely breathe, it was like I was frozen. a second later the person pulled the metal out of me and I fell to the ground just laying there. I was barely able to reach the button on my wrist that would alert the teams I brought with be to get everyone out of here, but I managed to press it. 

"Arianna!" my father yelled "move and she dies" my uncle said standing up. my vision began to blur as my blood poured out of me onto the floor. "not so strong now are you my little niece" my uncle said kneeling down with a smile
