Nash took a deep breath and walked into the waiting room. His nerves were still on edge after the interview, but he tried to shake off the tension as he looked around the room. Several other candidates were waiting for the results, like himself. Most of them were alphas with burly builds and expressionless faces. 

"I guess that's the kind of bodyguard Mr.James was looking for" Nash mutters to himself. 

As he was lost in thought, a cheerful young man approached him. He had short curly brown hair, sparkling hazel eyes, and a smile that could light up any room. 

Hey there, I'm Max!"

 The beta said cheerfully, extending his hand.

Nash shook Max's hand and introduced himself.

 "Nice to meet you, I'm Nash."

"Did you just finish your interview too?" 

Max asked eagerly.

Nash nodded. 

"Yeah, I did. How did you go?"

Max's smile grew even wider. 

"Great, I nailed it! I have a good feeling about this job. How about you?

Nash managed a weak smile, trying not to let his nervousness show. 

"It went well, I guess."

Max didn't seem to notice Nash's nervousness as his excitement only increased. 

"Awesome, we could be colleagues then! I hope we both get the job."

Nash smiled politely, not wanting to dampen Max's enthusiasm. 

"Yeah, that would be great."

Nash turned his head, hoping that Max didn't notice his nervousness. That's when he noticed a luxuriously dressed blonde man sitting in the corner of the room. He wore a choker necklace, which indicated that he was an omega. The man had an icy look on his face looking completely uninterested in the proceedings.

Max noticed Nash's gaze and followed it to the blonde man. 

"Wow, he looks like he's straight out of a fashion magazine," Max said with awe.

Nash nodded in agreement.

"I wonder if he's also applying for the bodyguard job."

Max looked surprised.

 "Wow, I didn't think about it. An omega applying for a bodyguard position, that's pretty cool!"

Nash smiled. After he suffered so much skepticism about his career choice , Max enthusiastic response was refreshing 

 "Actually, I'm an omega too."

Max's excitement was palpable. 

"Really? That's amazing! It's not often that you see an omega bodyguard. We could make a great team!"

Nash felt a little overwhelmed by Max's enthusiasm, but he didn't want to dampen his spirits. 

"Yeah, that would be great. Excuse me for a moment, I need to use the bathroom."

Max nodded eagerly, "Sure thing! I'll see you when you get back."

Max didn't even finished speaking before Nash ran away.
