The stark contrast between Yviette and Cora’s domestic situation hits hard for me. I’ve always been resentful when I feel that others are unrealistically optimistic
I hope that Yviette will understand that you both feel pain and happiness. Being hopeful and cheerful doesn’t mean that Cora doesn’t understand or see that the world is hurting. They are not mutually exclusive.
Temperatures are rising and this has fatal consequences for life on earth: heatwaves, droughts, wildfires, floods and storms are accumulating and are no longer a threat for the flora and fauna alone. Mother Nature has enough of watching her creation digging its own grave, so she decides to create Lith, a demon whose simple destiny is to save the world - without harming humans though, that's the only condition.
On Earth, Lith meets the enthusiastic climate activist Cora and the pessimistic Yviette, whose ideas about saving the world couldn't be more different.
Do we need education and social cohesion to move humanity towards a more sustainable lifestyle? Or is it already too late for that and is the only solution to free the earth of this destructive species?
Despite their passionate dislike for each other, the two soon find themselves in an environmental organization and fight with Lith for a better future.
But is peaceful activism alone enough to save the earth from its downfall?
