Hysinthus is so cute! I can see why Apollo has a crush on him!
The sad part about the original story, the West wind fell in love with Hyacinthus too; so when Apollo and Hyacinthus were playing a game similar to discus, the West Wind (Zephyrus) got so jealous that the discus flew into the side of Hyacinthus' forehead, thus killing him. The flower was a tribute that Apollo made in honor of his late lover (I learned this from The Trials of Apollo). So beautiful, yet so sad.
