Read What Next? :: Moving In

"On a happier note, would you like some help unpacking and getting moved in?" Kat asks me. "Yeah, sure!" I say, and get up. I can't believe how much stuff I have! A few long hours later, my room feels like home. All of my decorations are up, the bed is made, the desk is full, the works. We hear a knock on the apartment door and smell pizza. A few minutes later we're all seated on the couch with pizza, Coke, breadsticks, and garlic knots. We're watching Mean Girls and talking. "So, why is your dorm so fucking big?" I ask Nikki and Kat. "This place was made for 5 people to live in year round. When they all graduated, the school didn't want to split the room in half to leave room in case another group moved in." Nikki responds, then says, "Let's play truth and dare!" "Uhm, okay." I say.

"Okay, Kat you go first. Truth or dare?" Nikki asks. "Well, knowing you, your dare will be crazy, but your truth will be embarassing, but I'll go dare." she responds. "Okay, I dare you to kiss Abbie." Nikki says. My face is on fire. I look at Kat and see that she is also blushing like crazy. "Um okay." she says and gives me a small kiss on the cheek. I look at Nikki and see that she is very proud of herself for making us kiss. It's my turn. Kat asks me, "Truth or dare?" there is NO way I'm doing dare so I say, "Truth." "Hmm, okay, what's your biggest dream?" she asks me. "To get a loving partner and go to medical school. I want to be a doctor." "Omigosh, really? That's been my dream since, like, forever!" Kat says, and I smile.
