The arm he had wrapped around my waist was the only thing that held me against him. I was dead set on putting space between us, so that I didn’t act on that lust I knew he had for me right now. Sex was the last thing we needed to add to the mess of everything else.
“Elias.” William called my name, and I hated how in that moment it was stoking fires inside of me.
“William, let go.”
“I don’t think I want to do that. You’re not done feeding.”
My cheeks heated as I spoke. “I… It’s hard to feed right now. I can pick up on your lust through the blood bond, it’s stronger—-”
“Just what the hell are you talking about!” He snapped, the anger replacing the lust in his eyes. “I wouldn’t lust after you.”
“Let go of me then. I don’t want to spend another second this close to you.” I said, as politely as I could.
“No.” he said, holding me tighter. “I think it’s you who’s lusting after me, Elias.”
“Oh totally, William, I’m just completely lusting after you and your terrible behaviour, it just turns me on beyond—---” He rolled us over, and had me pinned under him again, this time he pinned both my hands over my head with a single hand of his. With his free hand, he touched my lower body, and I felt my face heat further.
“See, I knew I was right, you are lusting after—-”
“Get your hand off me!” I screamed, both embarrassed and angry with him.
“Relax, your highness, I won’t tell anyone you’re sexually attracted to me.” He said hushed, not moving his hand. “But tell me, are you a virgin, your highness?”
“Get your hand off of me, William. This is highly inappropriate for a man who wouldn’t kiss me. Surely this is far worse than a kiss.” I growled, losing my patience with his hand on my clothed cock.
“Just ask me for help—---” I drove my knee up into his chest and he moved his hand, but not in any way that helped me or the situation. He was just mad now. I fought and struggled against him until we both panted, trying to catch our breath.
Reaching up, having got a little air, I pressed my lips to his, and he didn’t fight me. He kissed me back, until he became fully aware he was doing it, then he shoved me flat back against the bed, and growled at me.
“Stop that!”
“How is what I’ve done worse than you touching my cock through—-” He aggressively kissed me, his chest rumbling the entire time our lips were touching. He suddenly let me go and put some space between us.
“I have to go, I have to help the beta.”
“Wait!”
“Sorry, I can’t.” He grabbed a shirt as he left, and I followed behind him, all the way to the beta’s.
“Go home Elias.” He demanded, trying to close the door on me. When he was successful, I screamed at the door, unsure if he could actually hear me. I was just beyond mad at whatever had just happened. He had touched me sexually, then accused me of being the one to have a lust for him. My head was spinning, and on top of that, he shut me out again.
“I hate you! I hate you so much! I’m going to stay with my aunt!”
Stomping off through the snow, I made the way to my aunts. She let me inside and offered me tea. Felix was here to have tea with my aunt, too.
“How is your arm, Elias?” He asked.
“It’s almost healed.”
“I’m pleased to hear that. I was worried about you.”
“Elias, you’re so angry, what is—--” I held my hand up, and she stopped speaking. Sighing deeply, I spoke. “I don’t feel like speaking about it right now. Can I lie down here?”
“Yes, I’ll show you to the bedroom. Rest as long as you need.”
“I wouldn’t want to take up your bed longer than I need to.”
“Oh no worries, I have a second room, too.” She smiled softly.
“They’ve treated you well, I’m glad.”
My aunt walked in front of me until we got to the bedroom, and then she spoke out of range of Felix. “What has William done to you this time, Elias? Your emotions are so heavy.”
“He is just—He is a wolf, he is hardheaded, annoying and doesn’t know how to accept anything. He accused me of having a lust for him, when it was his emotions I felt through the bond. His lust. I hate him!”
“Elias! Don’t dare utter those words.”
I crossed my arms, looking at her. Her face showed genuine anger, and she spoke slowly. “Hate is not an emotion you need to make yourself familiar with, and once you’ve uttered those words, you can’t take them back. Never allow yourself to say you hate someone, lest they hear those words themself.”
“Too late.” I hissed.
“Elias, please tell me you didn’t say those words to his face.”
“I didn’t. But I am sure through the thin door that he heard my words.”
“I am disappointed in you.”
“In me? He has locked me up, imprisoned you and everyone else, taken away my rights and I am the one you’re disappointed in? Are you fucking serious?” My anger was rocketing. I shoved past her, knocking her down, causing Felix to come have a look. He blocked the hallway.
“Your highness, please take a few breaths.”
“Get out of my way. It was a mistake coming here.”
“Elias, we are not done here!” My aunt said, grabbing my arm. I went to answer her, but I became so hyper aware of William that I stopped in my tracks. His emotions hit me like a ton of bricks, and he was so close I had goosebumps.
“I have to go.” I hissed, trying to pull my arm from her.
“Elias, I can feel his aura, too.” My aunt whispered.
“Exactly, I need to get out of here in case he—---”
“Go lay down, like you came here to do. I will handle the alpha.”
“No! He—-”
“Elias, Do as I’ve asked you too.”
Grinding my teeth, I went to the room. I closed the door and laid down. I heard her let William in.
“Where is Elias?”
“Laying down. Sit, I think—--”
“He can lie down in our fucking bed.”
“He can.”
“I’m taking him.”
“He won’t go with you willingly. He is pretty upset, William.”
“I don’t care that he is upset. I’ll rip this cabin apart, log by log.” He snarled.
“I understand he said some things that were harmful to you and your wolf, things he didn’t mean to say.”
“You fucking vampires don’t even slightly understand. You couldn’t even comprehend the soul deep need...”
I didn’t catch the end of his sentence because he dropped his voice purposely. Whatever he said made my aunt tell him what room I was in. He stopped outside the door, and his voice was calm as he spoke.
“Elias, are you going to come willingly, or do I need to drag you out?”
“I want neither option!”
“Elias, you belong to me.”
“I belong to no one!”
“That mark on your shoulder is proof alone.”
“It holds no value in my world!”
“You’re not in your world, you’re in mine.”
William opened the door, and his eyes were that golden, glowing in the dim room. He blocked the entire doorway. Sighing, I dropped my shoulders and walked towards him. “Good choice. I would hate to have to destroy your aunt’s cabin.”
He set his hand on the small of my back as he was propelling me forward. Felix was gone when we got back to the main room. My aunt frowned at me and spoke.
“Elias, Don’t forget to apologize.”
I crossed my arms, and William spoke. “Where are your boots?”
“At your cabin.”
He picked me up, saying nothing to me about it. Tossing me over his shoulder.
“I’m sorry for barging into your cabin. I needed Elias.” His tone and entire demeanour changed.
“No worries. I remember how my sister’s wolf partner was.”
William nodded before he left, closing the door behind us.
“Put me down, I can walk.” I groaned. He ignored me and continued walking. I knew he was taking me back to the cabin. I let him without putting up any more of a fight. I was done with the fighting.
He set me down inside the cabin, blocking the door. Taking a deep breath, I spoke, looking down at the floor.
“I’m sorry for saying that I hated you.”
“Sorry, what was that? I didn’t hear what you said?”
I knew he was just wanting me to say it again. This time I looked up at him, and those scary, beautiful golden eyes and spoke. “I’m sorry for saying that I hated you. It was wrong and I apologize for that.”
“Thank you.”
The room sank into silence, and I went to the bedroom, crawling into the bed.
“Elias, you can sleep after. Get up, we need to bathe.”
“Can’t you go without me?”
“No. You also need a bath.”
Sighing, I sat up and got out of the bed. I just wanted to sleep the rest of this day away too. He had a change of clothes for me in his hand when I came out. I put my boots on and followed behind him into the snow. He locked the door of the bath hall behind us. It was lit only by the fading sunlight until he lit a few candles.
He turned around, and I stripped, getting into the warm water. The heat of the water felt great, except for my arm, that I was holding out of the water so the wrapping did not get soggy.
“Come here, I’ll take that off. Your arm should be healed now.”
William removed the bandages, and I dropped my arm into the water, cleaning the healed skin. He undressed and slipped into the water, relaxing back against the far wall and putting space between us. The necklace was missing from around his neck and that made me feel a little safer. I closed the space between us and splashed him.
“Come here, let me wash your hair.” William said.
Getting closer, he cupped his hands and poured the water over my head. He kept pouring water over my head until my hair was soaked, then he massaged my scalp and it was pleasant.
“Rinse your hair now.”
“Wait, don’t stop that! It was pleasant.”
“Elias.”
“Please, just a little longer.”
“Alright.”
His fingers returned to my scalp, and he massaged, his fingers drifting down my head to my neck and shoulders. I was fully leaning against him when he stopped this time. I pushed back against him further, not wanting him to stop, and realized his body’s reaction to mine being this close.
“Elias.”
“Sorry, I just didn’t want you to stop, I’ll um... give you space.”
He stopped me from moving and spoke. “Just stop moving. Stay still.” He held me there, so even if I wanted to move, I couldn’t now.
“Elias, enough.”
I knew what he was talking about without even mentioning it. My mind was wandering, and I was hard, and I wanted him.
“You want me as bad as I want you, at this moment, don’t lie William. I won’t tell anyone you touched me—---”
He turned me around, his eyes golden, the colour I was coming to know really well on him. “I don’t care if anyone knows.” He said, his voice hushed, as he pulled me closer. “Sex changes everything between us, Elias. There really is no going back then.”
“There is no going back now. You’ve already marked me as your life partner. You’re only until death.”
