A unanimous agreement was reached for settlement by the involved parties. The nurse who was said to be negligent had her license suspended by the board of nursing for ten years after lengthy deliberation by the disciplinary committee was found that she was involved in domestic violence and chemical dependency.
The relationship between Han Jiho and Lee Kaycee improved during their repeated visits together for antenatal care. Lee Kaycee relocated to a three-bedroom officetel close to Juni Medical Center, where she regularly went for her doctor visits and preparatory classes for expectant mothers.
On one particular morning at around 10, Han Jiho showed up to pick up Lee Kaycee; when the two got close to Han Jiho’s luxurious red minivan, he pulled the handle of the passenger seat to open the door for Lee Kaycee. As she was ready to put on her seatbelt, Han Jiho leaned in to reach for the seatbelt. Lee Kaycee unconsciously held her breath. She could not tear her eyes away from the enticing pink lips so close to her face.
“Y-You do not have to do it, Mr. Han. I can put on the seatbelt myself,” said Lee Kaycee in a voice husky even to her ears.
The tip of Han Jiho's ears turned red when he heard the husky cadence of Lee Kaycee.
“When will you become comfortable calling me Jiho? Hmm?” said Han Jiho playfully.
Han Jiho lightly brushed the feathery locks of Lee Kaycee as he inched closer to cover the distance that separated them. His lips started by teasing her luscious fullness. The nibbling and sucking became much for her that she began to moan as the pleasure took over her.
After a while, Han Jiho reluctantly parted his lips from hers to hook the seatbelt in place. He tenderly brushed the pad of his thumb against her swollen lips before turning away to close her door.
On his way back to take his seat. Lee Kaycee placed a hand on her chest. She could feel her heart racing from the toe-curling kiss she shared with Han Jiho.
Once inside the car, Han Jiho secured his seatbelt and started the car. He reached for her hand and held them in his, and only then did he drive towards the future ahead.

Eight months later
Juni Medical Center
Over the months, Lee Kaycee gained healthy weight and gave birth to a baby girl named Han Ji-min. The birth certificate listed Han Jiho as the father and Lee Kaycee as the mother.
Lee Kaycee sat on the hospital bed in checkered maternity Pajamas, surrounded by her family, close friends, and soon-to-be in-laws Han family; noticeably absent was Han Jisu writing end-of-the-semester exams.
“She looks just like my daughter,” proudly said the maternal grandmother.
“Ji-min resembles my son more!” said Han Chaewon with a huff.
The baby is in her father's arms; both grandparents are fighting over who the baby resembles. The new father could not take his eyes off the woman that accidentally walked into his life; what would have caused so much division ended up being a blessing in disguise.
Lee Seon-ho noticed how the man holding his grandchild was looking at his daughter. It was eyes full of love and yearning.
“Son-in-law, you can hand over the baby to me.”
Without any hesitation, Han Jiho placed the swaddled baby in the arms of Lee Seon-ho. He was at the bedside of Lee Kaycee; when she saw him, Lee Kaycee beckoned to Han Jiho by tapping the top of her lips with a finger.
Han Jiho lowered his head to give a long deep kiss to Lee Kaycee, taking her tongue into his as the two collided in a passionate smooch.
When Kaycee missed her period after a visit to the doctor’s office for a pap smear, she dismissed it as stress-related; when the third month was around the corner. Her monthly visitor was strangely absent, and that was when Kaycee knew that it had gone beyond stress. Worried that something didn’t seem right, a trip to her local drug store and two lines on the absorbent stick from the pregnancy kit sent her world crashing down.
Jiho believed in the noblesse duty of showing kindness and being selfless by offering to be an anonymous sperm donor without prior knowledge of his ultra-conservative affluent family. All hell breaks loose when his identity is no longer a secret, thanks to medical misconduct.
