Sadly, many people have been hurt to such an extent that it has made them unable to love even themselves.
They were hurt by evil, trauma, grief, accidents, negligence, abandonment, disappointments, losses or any kind of suffering. Your pain is real, but if you are willing to heal your wounds, ask God to help you release forgiveness and heal your heart.
You might be thinking ' There's no way for me, I'm a lost cause.' Smile, I have good news!
"Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Matthew 19:26 NIV.
Beloved, we serve the God of the impossible! It is exactly these cases that no medicine has any effect or psychological treatment works that we must take to the Lord.
"He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds."
Psalms 147:3 NLT.
Believe. Say, what have you got to lose? Your problem has no solution, nothing can cure you. If it doesn't work out as you already anticipated, you will still have hope that will comfort and cheer you up.
If trying it out, you win anyway, why not go ahead and use faith?
Isn't it worth risking to believe?
Prayers made with faith are answered, no matter how you've lived up until now, He loves you no matter what you do. God more than anyone wants to see your healing.
Just keep something in mind, it won't be automatic. Lately we are used to having everything on time, we have unlearned having to wait for things.
Have you noticed that we tend not to value things achieved without any effort from us? It didn't cost anything, so it won't be long until we stop paying attention to it.
God will do it however it may take a few minutes, hours or even months. He will heal you, that's unquestionable, "when" is the part we're unaware about.
"For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have?
But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently."
Romans 8:24,25 NIV.
Why? This is the waiting time to test your faith, be persistent and keep believing with patience. Then you will receive your reward.
"And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised."
Hebrews 6:15 NIV.
