Takitsu sat up immediately after hanging up, which scared Monsoon, who jumped out of fear. Kaze even didn't look at him.

Why this hikouri called him cute? It's nonsense. He wasn't cute. And especially not because he's short!

He left the bed and went to the kitchen. He wanted some tea. He turned the kettle on and sighed.

"What happened?"

Takitsu turned around sharply. He completely forgot that Kanzu was in his home.

"Why do you think that something happened? A client called me, there is nothing else going on" replied Takitsu.

"And that's why you're sighing?" Kanzu leaned his head on his hand.

"Ugh..." Takitsu sat down on the counter. "You spend too much time with your stupid boyfriend, Kanzu.

"Yokan isn't stupid" Kanzu countered calmly. "He's... specific."

"You spend too much time with Noichi too" replied Takitsu, taking out an orange cup from the cupboard. "Do you want tea?"

"Coffee."

"As black as your soul?"

"Yes."

"I knew it" Takitsu pulled out another cup. "Do you want a cup with Hello Kitty motiff?"

"You know I hate Hello Kitty."

"Exactly."

"Kitsune..."

Takitsu laughed inside. This old school time nickname meant only one thing. He did impossible. He made Kanzu mad.

Asagao has been known by his infinite patience. And maybe that's why he could stand someone like Yokan.

Takitsu sat next to Kanzu on the couch and handed him his coffee. He took the cup and stared at the screen.

"How long I wasn't there?"

"You missed only the commercials."

Takitsu nooded.

"Who called you?" asked Kanzu curiously.

"Tansetsuki."

"This guy, who saw your nightmare?"

"Yes" Takitsu nodded.

"And what?"

"He asked me, who remembers previous timelines" explained Takitsu. "I explained it and then we hang up."

"But you sighed."

Takitsu looked at him intently.

"I sigh a lot."

"Because you get angry a lot."

"What do you mean?" Takitsu frowned.

"You're sighing, when you're angry" Kanzu shrugged. "Or you growl."

"Really?" Takitsu was surprised. "Okay, let's say that I believe you."

"So, what has he done?"

"He said that I'm cute" Takitsu sipped his tea.

Kanzu tilted his head like a puppy.

"And that's why you're so angry?"

"Yes? I'm not cute" said Takitsu firmly. "And he called me that twice and it was out of even dumber reason than before."

"And what have you done?" asked Kanzu.

"I chased him out of my mind and went to the kitchen" replied Takitsu.

"Because he complimented you...?" Kanzu looked confused.

"He just said that I'm cute because I'm short!"

"He pointed out that you're a dwarf or did you start the topic?" Kanzu asked to be sure.

"What's the difference?" Takitsu put his feet on the table. "I told him that I prefer to talk sitting down, because I get annoyed when looking up. And then he said I was cute."

Kanzu frowned and stared at his cup.

"What?" Takitsu looked at him.

"Nothing" replied Kanzu.

"Kanzu."

"Well... You know... He just wanted..." Kanzu sighed. "Tansetsuki wanted to just cheer you up, Takitsu. He wanted to be... nice."

Takitsu blinked.

"What?"

"Nice. People are nice. Sometimes" Kanzu tapped his fingers on the cup. "I know we've been through a lot and we're both depressed and that doesn't help us recognize that people can be nice, but..."

"So he took pity on me?" Takitsu snorted. "That's even worse."

"That depends, if he did anything else" said Kanzu.

"He touched my nose" replied Takitsu. "And his tone of voice was quite... cheerful?"

"So it's even worse."

"Worse?"

"Yes. He wanted to cheer you up. He's really nice" Kanzu took a sip of his coffee. "You yelled at a nice man."

"I didn't tell you I yelled at him."

"Now you told me."

"Asagao!"

Kanzu chuckled.

Takitsu had to admit one thing about Taketsumi. Since this moron appeared in Kanzu's life, it was easier to hear his laugh.
