I closed my eyes and soon fell asleep.

"Oh no, it's one of big brother's nightmares again."

"He always has a nightmare in his dreams."

Sometimes when I fall asleep, I can see other people's dreams. 

One night, I saw my mom hugging a man I didn't know. 

When I asked her about it, she said she had dreamt of hugging my dad. 

I tried this with my friends, and they all had dreams that matched what I saw.

"All the logs that I chopped today have decided to come and haunt me, I guess." he said looking out the window.

After he left the room, I followed him outside and we met up with Pickle.

Pickle was pulling something.

"Rose?"

"Is she sleeping?"

...

I feel a gentle shaking on my arm, rousing me from my sleep.

"Angel,wake up already!"

"5 more minutes."

"Come on, Rose is here to pick you up. You wanted to see the horse, didn't you?"

"HORSIE!" I jumped from the bed and ran past my mom.

"Good morning sleepyhead," Big Sister Rose greeted me with a smile as I stumbled out of my room.

"Good morni-HUH!?"

I gasped and stumbled back in shock. 

For a moment, Big Sister Rose's body appeared burned and disfigured. 

Her face seemed to be peeling off, her legs were missing, and blood was seeping from her waist.

"What's wrong?" Rose asked, now back to her normal appearance.

"No,nothing is wrong." I said nervously.

"Okay, let's go then."

"But what about breakfast?"

"We're going to have a picnic once we arrive, so there's no need to have breakfast."

"Really? What are we eating?"

"Sardine sandwiches."

After our conversation, my mom, Big Sister Rose, and I started to walk towards the lake.

When we arrived at out destination the first thing that I noticed was-

"HORSIE!"

I didn't even wait for approval from my mom; 

I ran towards the horsie and hugged her from the side.

I started petting the horsie while Mom and Big Sister Rose were preparing our breakfast.

Some time passed.

"Angel, breakfast!" Mom shouted across the lake.

I ran towards them, leaving the horsie behind, and we began to eat.

"Hey, Big Sister, what's the bucket for?" I asked curiously.

"To wake up another sleepyhead," she replied with a mischievous grin.

Some time had passed, and after a while, Big Sister Rose left.

Leaving me and Mom to play with the horsie.

Some time had passed, and after a while, my Grandpa came.

"Angel,Pearl What are you two doing here?"

"We are having a picnic Grandpa." I said.

"A picnic?"

"Yes Big Sister Rose told us that you bought a new horsie so we come to play with her."

"That girl can't hold a secret can she?"

"Don't be so harsh to her she only told angel to make her happy,she knows that she loves animals" Mom said as she laughed.

Granpa sighned and said:

"I need to take her to that rascal soon,you can play with her some more but don't pet her roughly."

"Okay,I'll be careful"

After playing with the horsie some more Granpa takes her away.

I wave behind them,feeling a bit sad that horsie is gone.

"Hey,don't be sad,I am sure Big Brother would let you play with her again if you just ask."

"He would?"

"Of course,how about we play together for now?"

"Sure! What should we play?"

Time passes by and we had a fun day. It was almost noon, so we decided to turn back. 

Mom packed the leftovers and we started to walk home.

On the road Mom hands me the leftovers and says:

"Honey, could you please take these to your Granpa's house?"

"Huh? Why didn't you give them to him when he was with us at the lake?"

"I forgot," she said with a guilty smile.

"Okay, but can I stay there tonight? I want to play with Pickle."

"Again? You're going to cause trouble for your Grandpa."

"I won't cause any trouble, I'll behave. I swear to the god under the sea."

"Hey now don't take the god's name to your mouth that easly."

"I won't,so can I?"

"Fine,but only if your Grandpa lets you if he doesn't come back right away."

"Okay!" I said with a smile.

When we arrived at the fork in the road, I went right while Mom took the left. 

I waved at her and sped up.

After running for a while, I finally saw the house and noticed that Grandpa was walking towards the cellar

"GRANPA!" I yelled as I charged and hugged him.

"Angel! what are you doing here?"

"I came to visit Pickle and Mom asked me to give you these."

"What is this?"

"It's the leftover sardines."

"They caught a lot of these, haven't they? Anyway, do you want to stay overnight?"

"Yes,can I?"

"Sure, you can. I was just about to go unlock the cellar so that Pickle could get inside. Why don't you come with me?"

We walked towards cellar and unlocked it,now all we had to do was wait for pickle.

"He should be coming soon, but you can't play with him yet. He is probably very tired and wants to sleep."

"I know,I just want to see him I won't play with him."

"Good girl."

We waited for a long while, and Granpa started to get anxious.

"Something is wrong he should be here by now."

"Maybe he is still hunting for fruits?"

"Cellurks cannot stay awake for too long. If they do, they will pass out."

"Do you think he passed out in the woods?"

"I don't know. I'll go check on him. You stay here and wait."

Without even waiting for my response, he ran towards the forest and disappeared.

And so my waiting starts.

I waited in the cellar...

I waited outside of the cellar...

I waited infront of the house...

I waited in the side of the house...

It was getting late.

I sighned.

"He is not coming back,I am bored."

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

"ELDER!"

I heard someone shout from infront of the house.

I peeked from the corner of the house, it was Big Brother and horsie!

Today was his birthday, so I decided to surprise him. 

I knew he would come and check the cellar, so I hid inside. 

I was hiding behind some barrels where he wouldn't see me. 

I heard footsteps coming closer and giggled excitedly.

"Where is he?"

Just as I was about to come out and surprise him, someone else entered the cellar. 

He moved so quickly that Big Brother didn't even have a chance to turn around before he was stabbed in the neck. 

After watching Big Brother fall to the ground, the intruder locked us inside and left. 

I was too afraid to move and with trembling legs, I went to check on Big Brother. He was still breathing.

"Big Bro wake up!" I said as I shaked him.

I shook, pinched his cheeks, slapped him, and even punched him, but he didn't wake up.

I wanted to scream for help, but I was too afraid that whoever had stabbed Big Brother might still be close.

So I sat in the corner waiting for Grandpa to come and let us out.

...

It was getting late and I was tired I fell asleep.

*sniff* *sniff*

"I can smell burning wood."

"Probably because of the bonfire. Some soldiers started it outside the tent."

I was dreaming,who is dream is this? who are these people?

"Why?"

"Dunno,some festival apparently."

In front of me, there are people wearing weirdly green clothes.

Suddenly I heard a woman voice coming from a weird box.

"The unidentified green matter has been growing constantly inside the ocean on the east of the continent."

"Fear is growing among the people of 'Batinya'."

One of the men mimicked the woman's voice, saying,

"FeAr Is GrOwInG aMoNg ThE pEoPlE oF 'bAtInYa', man she is anoying."

"You are right."

Some other man enters the tent and shouts,

"Interpreter! Commander is calling for you!"

One of the men gets up, puts on a green cap, and leaves the tent.

...

My dream ends there and I wake up to notice that the sun is up.
