Mirrasae: Yay for military terms! It's an interesting struggle to be certain Eman sounds like he knows what he's talking about, when I really don't. Fortunately my Dad is a Vet, so I can ask for aid wherever I fall short. That, and Google, makes this much easier than it would otherwise be. Sci-Fi/Military is quite a leap from High Fantasy. Heh. I'm happy to learn, though, so all 'round working on this comic is a rewarding experience.

Miko: I promise this page looked fabulous before it was scanned in... It seems impossible to keep details like snowdrifts and still have this small enough to upload... Ah, well.
I love white. Makes things sooo much easier. Mirrasae and I agree that our next comic should take place entirely in a winter-scape. No indoors, nothing. Painting would then be a cinch.
Red on white is such a shocking and pleasing contrast. Call it morbid, but the artist in me has always loved the effect of blood on snow. Maybe that comes from the picture book I read as a child with the original version of Snow White?
