At least Chiaki didn't try to saw anyone in half. XD
Fun fact: This is actually one of the first scenes I planned for the comic. Chiaki's already mentioned that there's no demi-humans or demons in her world, but I liked thinking about how she might respond if someone asked her about magic in her world. And sure, I could've leaned into her going over magic systems in various games and yammering about Espers and Materia and Swordians and Crest Graphs and such, but there is a "sort" of magic in real life. Even if we're just talking about sleight of hand performance.
That said, just because you know of this kind of magic - even if you know how the trick works - it doesn't necessarily mean you can do it. So naturally, Chiaki botches this. And spectacularly too, as she guesses a playing card while drawing a Tarot card. (And yes, I drew my own The Fool card for this page. Here's a closeup version if you care about my homemade Tarot card.)

Beyond that, this is primarily just a gag page, although there are some interesting details you could take note of. And I'd love to hear what you're thinking! ;P
Follows the strange story of Chiaki, a daydreaming otaku who longs to confess her feelings to her childhood friend, Fumiko, and how that's made especially difficult when she gets transported to another world...
