Arthur's POV
After the showers I headed to the cafeteria, where Simon and William were already waiting for me at a table, "Hey guys, did you wait long?" I asked as I approached them.
"No, we got here a few seconds before you did." Simon said before continuing
"Art, back in the room I was being insensitive and I'm sorry. I wasn't thinking about your feelings and that was wrong of me."
"It's alright, and I too am sorry for being petty about it" I told him before giving him a hug
"By the way what happened in the bathroom?" William asked as I released Simon
"How did you know about that?" I asked back amazed by how news of it travel fast
"Alfonso was cursing at you saying you are a traitor to nobility and how you're a disgrace to the lightning Sage's lineage" he replied
"I'll tell you about it once we get our food" I got up and headed to the queue.
After we got our food and sat down at our seats, William didn't even wait for me to pick up my utensils and he goes "So what happened?"
"Really?" I asked, giving him a look of sarcasm "at least give me a while to pick up my utensils first."
"Yeah dude calm down." Simon chimed in, beside me
"Sorry, I'm excited to hear what Arthur did to rile Alfonso up so much."
Once I've settled down I started with"Sigh…. alright here's what happened….."
After I finished my story, they looked at me in amazement, "Wow!" They both uttered at the same time.
"Art, do you actually mean it?" Simon asked still surprised by the story
"What do you mean?" I asked
"That I'm family" Simon said looking at me with puppy eyes
"Course" I replied while ruffling his hair
"You're like a little brother to me"
"We are the same age you know" Simon responded with an annoyed look on his face
"Art's right Si" William chimed in, "you've been with us for so long now it feels like you are part of our family, even if you aren't born a mage, but you have a heart of one" William finished
"Thanks guys" Simon said smiling like he just won a million dollars
"Alright, we should retire for the night. We have weapon element training first thing tomorrow." William said, breaking the moment.
"Yeah let's go" Simon said following William to return the food tray
"Hey! Wait up" I shouted, and ran after them
Simon's POV
The alarm rang at 6:15am in the morning and the reason for that is because Art is a very deep sleeper, even as the alarm rang loudly he just turned to the left side using his arm as a pillow on his own bed pillow.
"Seriously!" I thought to myself as I shook my head and got up to turn off the alarm. After that I walked over to his bed and tried to shake him awake.
"Art, wake up! We need to be at breakfast by 7." I said as I shook him.
He just let out a loud groan and used his blanket to cover his head.
I gave up after trying and failing miserably to get him to wake up. I headed to the bathroom to wash up. I bumped into William a few minutes later while walking to the bathroom. "Good morning Si." he greeted with a smile the moment he saw me."Morning Bill." I replied feeling tired from trying to wake the sleeping log in my room. "Art's not awake yet?" He asked "That's the thing, no matter how many times I shout and shake him he just won't wake." I complained.
"I have an idea." He said. "What is it?" I asked. "You'll see!" he replied, "Come!" He said to me as if giving me a command. We went back to my room and when I opened the door, William immediately conjured a water ball above Arthur's head and dropped it on him.
Arthur got up and let out gasps, and cough while looking dumbfounded and wondering what just happened.
"Good morning sleepyhead" William greeted him with a cheeky smile on his face
"What was that for?!" He yelled.
"Simon has been trying to wake you up since 6:15." William explained, "but you won't even wake up, so what else can I do?"
"What time is it?" Arthur asks, still recovering from dumbfoundedness.
"6:30" I replied. "We only got thirty minutes to get to the cafeteria."
"DAMN!" Arthur shouted, jumped out of bed and quickly gathered his things before running to the bathroom with us following behind him.
