Adventures of Edwin - Part 16 - Not a party, not a party!

What Edwin witnesses
One of the creatures carries a staff with a beautiful gem shining on top of it and steps in front of the gathered audience.
The crowd shushes each other to be quiet.
The one that Edwin believes now to be the leader, stabs his little sceptre into the sand, walks up to uncle Lambert and points at him, squeaking angrily.
It then marches over to to something that looks like a broken skull of sorts, points at it, swinging his little arm in the air.
Finally it faces the crowd again, cradles his tail and mutters in a sinister tone. Edwin doesn't understand the little things but he has a good guess, what is going to happen next.
