He quickly turned around and started climbing up to get out of the hole. Halfway up, he felt something grab his leg. Looking down, he saw the shit that had emerged from the sand and stuck to his leg.
Holding onto the wall of the pit with one hand, he began to hit the monster with the stick in his other hand along with his leg.
"Let go, you faggot. Let go!"
Having gotten rid of the monster, he continued to climb out. Looking inside the hole, he saw thousands of pieces of crawling shit.
"Well, how will you reach me now? Haha."
At that moment, all the monsters seemed to turn towards him. And after a few seconds, they began to gradually elongate, and then return to their original form, and so it continued until they all headed towards him.
"Mother of God... Why did I have to open my mouth and say why?!"
Seeing the pieces of shit beginning to climb up the wall, he started running into the forest with the stick in his hands. After running for more than 10 minutes, he stopped. Looking around, he saw only trees, no, stone trees.
"Well, I think they lost sight of me. So I'll keep going."
He walked for what seemed like hours, seeing only trees. At some point, he heard a sound like something dripping.
Looking at the source, he saw a cockroach similar to the first one he had encountered, but it was the size of a large sheepdog... And it had a long horn like a unicorn's, only black and completely covered in blood and slime.
The cockroach quickly spotted him and, abandoning its business, began to run towards him, aiming its horn.
This time the corpse was ready, and the stick was sturdy. As he prepared, he waited for the moment when the beetle would approach.
"Lucky me. This beast can shoot. Well, bitch, I'm going to knock you and your nasty horn out!"
Quickly running up to the cockroach, he struck with all his might straight to the head. The cockroach groaned, but did not give up and tried to shoot again. But he didn't have enough time, and he was hit on the head again. This time the monster flew 2 meters and fell onto the sand.
Thinking that the fight was over, he was ready to throw the stick to the ground. But suddenly he quickly jumped back and prepared to attack again.
"White mist didn't come out of him, so he's still alive... I have a bad feeling about this. And if so, I'll be the first to strike."
Running as fast as he could, he struck straight to the head. Upon impact, he saw the beetle's eyes filled with blood. Without a second thought, the corpse pierced one of them with the stick. And at that moment, the cockroach shot from the remaining eye.
Fortunately, the cockroach missed, and the stick flew straight at it, which was the last thing it saw before being blinded. Strangely, even though the eyes were destroyed, not a drop of blood began to flow from the holes. Except for a small amount of transparent nasty liquid.
The corpse hit the defenseless cockroach's head again. And there he lay, beaten to death, on the sand. This time, more mist came out of the cockroach, which was even denser.
"He was strong. But in the end, he still died. Hm... I wonder, is this horn sturdy?"
He approached the black horn and examined it. There were several cracks at the base, but after several strikes, the horn didn't budge an inch. Even the cockroach's corpse moved upon impact.
Moving the body to a tree, he saw the legs, which were smooth on one side and full of small sharp teeth on the other. Seeing the cockroach's leg gave him an idea.
He began to twist the leg in all directions in an attempt to tear it off. But it took him over an hour to do so, something he never thought possible. What was this? As he tried to tear off the leg, he often cut his hands, but the wounds quickly healed.
Looking at the trophy in the form of a saw, he started to cut the base of the horn. It was difficult at first, but with time, the horn finally came off.
Examining the uneven base of the horn, he saw a hole and then turned his gaze to a stick. An idea came to him and he attempted to connect the two. Unfortunately, the stick was slightly thicker than the horn. But he didn't give up. He began to trim the edges of the stick with a homemade saw.
After several hours of monotonous manipulation, he finally managed to connect the stick to the horn, creating a makeshift weapon - a spear.
"Finally, a real weapon."
Looking at the spear, he made several trial swings. He moved very clumsily with it, even falling and dropping it several times.
But he didn't give up, practicing with the spear for hours, maybe even days. Fortunately, his movements became better. He even created several combo moves. But they were all just the foundation, or perhaps only the beginning.
A loud scream echoed as he practiced with his spear. Looking in the direction of where it came from, he saw a bat flying towards him. It was large and disgusting, but what was most memorable about it was its head. Half-human, half-vampire, with long ears, half of its face covered in hair, blood-filled eyes, and two fangs the size of needles, or maybe a little thicker.
The vampire circled above him, and after a few screams and circles, it flew straight towards him, mouth open.
"Damn bloodsucker," he muttered.
Preparing his spear for a strike, he waited for the creature to come close enough. It was flying not too slowly, but not too fast either.
When the bloodsucker got close enough, he struck the bat with his spear. But before the spear could wound it, the vampire stopped right in mid-air. Then, making a half-turn, it sank its fangs into the attacking hand holding the saw.
It was all too fast for him. He thought the creature would be impaled by his spear and didn't expect this trick. And then... he couldn't keep up.
The bloodsucker, having bitten his hand, began to suck blood, or liquid? Despite being undead or something of the sort, it didn't stop him. His blood didn't flow or wasn't there at all. But that wasn't an obstacle for the creature, as his hand gradually shrunk. Seeing this, he became afraid and immediately struck the vampire's stomach with his spear in his other hand. The creature let go of his hand and began to scream, then attempted to fly away.
But the spear in its stomach prevented it from doing so. Holding the spear in his hands, he pulled the bat towards him. No one wanted to give up their advantage to another.
The corpse was pulling the spear with all its might when suddenly it fell. Not understanding what had happened, it watched as a bat flew away and landed on a thick branch. And then it began to scream as a hand emerged from its fluffy belly. The hand was made of bones covered in pink skin. As soon as it fully emerged from the belly, it immediately grabbed the horn and began to slowly pull it out of its body or the body of its host. When it was done, it threw the horn away and the bat flew off again. In the meantime, the corpse, holding a stick in his hand, watched this strange scene.
"Damn it, the monster has a hand. And there's no guarantee there's only one. And the spear broke, leaving me with only a stick and a saw."
The bat did not fly for long. After a few minutes, it attacked the enemy or the food again.
Making a circle, it tried to strike from behind, in the blind spot. But before it could sink its teeth into flesh, it flew off to the side, hitting a tree.
The monster was hit by the stick, which threw it to the side. Without waiting for the bat to take off again, the corpse threw himself straight at it. The fanged creature was hit in the head again, but its grotesque hand caught the stick when the corpse tried to strike again.
His hand was strong... or rather, inhumanly strong. He was trapped, if he dropped the stick, he would lose his last weapon. But at the same time, the monster was approaching his throat, opening its mouth wide, ready to bite him.
From his approaching death, his eyes darted from side to side. Seeing a nearby horn that had been discarded, a risky idea came to his mind. But...even though he was already in mortal danger. With one free hand, he could reach...no, damn it! He needed just a little bit more.
"Well, damn. It's now or never."
Letting go of the stick, he grabbed the horn. And he punctured its head through the mouth, which was ready to bite off the head of the corpse in the next second.
The corpse's hand was full of wounds from fangs and the monster's hand, which fought for survival. But fortunately, it began to weaken and was already waving weakly. Until it finally fell down lifeless. A huge cloud of smoke came out of the bat and quickly disappeared into it.
Falling on his butt, he couldn't believe he had survived.
"That was close. Hmmm...I have to do something with the spear, or it will fall apart too quickly."
Looking at the monster's corpse, he had an idea.
"What if?... I can try."
Feeling the wings of the bat, he felt its smooth skin. After that, he started cutting with a homemade saw from a cockroach leg as carefully as possible where the skin was connected to the bone of the wing.
It took him 3-4 minutes for every centimeter. And all because he was cutting very slowly and carefully, almost perfectly, if you don't count that somewhere it was cut as if it were torn with teeth.
