Ipoh Big Three #Malaysia

The next day, our friends wanted to show us around his home town Ipoh. They joked that Ipoh was famous for three good things: Good scenery, good food and good women. Guess we were supposed to experience all three in one day!
He bought us to try many good food in the old town. Soon after a big breakfast, we were in another coffee shop. We had Bak Kut Teh, Char Koay Teow, Wan Tan Mee, Teh Bing and egg tarts! Everywhere we go, we eat, eat and eat!
Ipoh old town was famous for mural art. We searched for all the mural paintings in town and took lots of photos. The mural paintings were pictures of the local people lives painted on the old walls. flOra loved to discover the street art.
After wandering around the old town, our friends bought us to see the caves - the great scenery. Ipoh had an interesting landscape of many small individual hills with green coverage and spacious caves inside. Unfortunately, we were too late that the cave visiting time was ended, but Dan had a glimpse of it from the outside.
Four of us met went to a tea shop after dinner and we played Monopoly Deal card game. flOra asked them, how about the beautiful women?
They both shake their heads, feeling shy, We don’t really know where they are.

When Daniel was young, he had a dream: to have an extended honeymoon with the woman he loves.
He did not know how she looks or where is she from, but he wanted to spend the first year of his marriage with his wife.
Inspired by the Bible verse, Deuteronomy 24:5 : When a man get married. The first year he shall not call to war or business, but stay at home and please his wife.
He thought what if people actually do it?
Life is short and full of hustles. Soon we will have kids, pursuing career, earning money and the list goes on and on. If we are to be married for 50 years of our lives, 1 year out of 50 is only 2%. Why don't we devote one year to just focus on marriage, enjoy and learn about each other, build a strong foundation for marriage, and create the memories that we would never forget?
We would never have the first year of marriage back. If we rush back to work the next day after our wedding and be occupied with other priorities in life, will we get to know each other’s needs or spend quality time together? So me (flOra) and my husband Daniel decided to give our best time and attention to each other in our first year of marriage.
