Based on his room I’m gonna guess he’s trans(?) and maybe a bit self conscious about his appearance if he were to wear that shirt. Or maybe I’m way off base and misunderstood and he’s just an ally, feel free to correct me. I’m not trans myself, but I find it relatable still to be friendless (being a late diagnosed autistic and ADHD female) and self conscious about my appearance. So I do immediately find myself rooting for him to gain some self confidence and friends. It’s hard at that age to be all alone and experiencing growing up without any friends to talk to and process it all with. But he seemed to have a lot of popular media items in his room and so maybe he’ll find some peers that have similar interest and can bond over mario, among us or Pokémon.
