Omg this reminds me so much of my high school/upper secondary experience! There were these two girls I wanted to befriend and one of them seemed easier to talk to than the other, but they were like glued at the hip. At one point I did end up friends with them, but they ditched the whole rest of the friend group the last day of school. It was so weird how they just up and ghosted all of us going so far as to leave our group chat as soon as the school day was over and refusing to join in pictures with the group. To this day I don’t really know why they just cut us off like that, but I still keep in touch with most of the other friends from that group. Well, you didn’t ask for my life story lol, but this just reminded me of that day when I set my target on her, but I’m sure this will end up having a more happy end in regards to the MC’s quest for friendship 😅
