I was googling general ball etiquette in the Victorian era.. Men shouldn't introduce themselves to a lady (the host should introduce men to women), You shouldn't dance or sit by a stranger, you shouldn't dance too frequently with one partner, nor show much affection… um, I feel like Albert and Ida broke a bunch of these rules lol
