As she heard the scream of her young sister, Raven turned her head slightly as her hand began to shake. Juliet, who had dropped to the ground and was screaming, tears in her bright eyes, as she looked at the smaller body there in one of the young women's arms.   Trying to get out of the strong arms of this woman holding her back, she screamed through tears `` Let me near my brother!, Why aren't you helping him? Help him you darn people!’’ was repeated over and over a long with the cries of a words meant to be, ‘’Let me go, let me go!’’ She repeated those simple words as if they would bring him back, bring their brother back. But they would not, he was gone as if he had never been. Raven saw there was a little blood on Juilliet  dark red overalls. Juilliet must have found their family dead before the team of whatever they were came in and was trying to hide the scene of a new broken family.

Ren turned and walked out of the room , leaving Raven where she was as she went down the steps and walked towards the front of the house. Ren heard steps behind her and then felt the slight hand on hers. She knew it was empty, without looking at her twin she opened her pale pink lips `` What do you think they will do with us Rav?” Ren said in a tired voice , mostly not sure as the leaves fall around her like her tears streaming down her cheeks. As her hands went to play with the small flower that had landed in her pocket.  The floor in their kitchen had been so white before the blood splattered on it. Ren closed her light colored eyes as the tears stopped and welled up in the eyelids closed lightly. The images of her brother flashed past her eyes. The way he laughed when she laughed. The way his smile could be kind but also send you running. How many times he had scared away the bullies. The dinner times  where he would  help her clean up the dishes only to blow the water at her. As their memories went past her eyes , she remembered her last words to him. If she only knew she would have hugged him she simply thought like most of them that their father had decided to test the pistols without him. 

Ren lifted her hand out of her black lined pocket to place it against the wood panels at the said of there now  old house “Do you think they will separate us?” Ren put it simply. 

“For once I don’t know Ren”, said Raven moving her hair to the side of her right shoulder. The dark brown hair laid across her shoulder and then fell slightly off her shoulder. As they came around to the front, a porch swing  swung back and forth slowly in the wind. She felt werid , she wasn’t sure if it was the overwhelming feeling of her brother's death or parents; she had no idea if it was because  life was waying her down. Raven placed her hand on the cold black iron railing then lowered herself down on the step and her twin joined her there on the step next to her there arms interlocked as Raven legs layered straight out twisted around one in another and Raven felt a light tap on her head.  Raven heard the door behind them open as Julilet walked down the steps in a way that seemed different from their lively younger sister. Her walk was somber. Raven knew that it was probably because she had been the one to find their brother's limp body. Her curiosity was getting the best of Raven in her own head. She wondered if her sister Jules had seen the man or women who had shot and killed some of their own bloodline. But the coldness of the  steps they were sitting on ,and the women in a suit that was walking towards them, snapped Raven right out of her own head and back to the dull forsaken reality. 

“Here we go”  Juliet's hands stopped moving to say the letters and a  gloomy  look came to her face as her blue eyes looked up  at the women coming closer. Her dirty blonde hair was messed from when she had been struggling in this woman's arms coming towards them.  

“Sorry  to interrupt but as you know you three don’t have a guardian. Your older sister, well the oldest of you siblings can't take care of you so that means you have to go into a system. We were able to get you two twins into a school that takes in teenagers” The woman looked down and fixed her tie as she let her words settle into the kids in front of her. 

Ren felt troubled as she looked up at this woman. She felt the tears that had been in her eyes start to dry at the side of her delicate eyes.  Ren's head was on her twin's shoulder, looking at this woman through the strands of white hair that had gone in front of her face. Once what the agent said had registered with the three of them, she continued on her point. “ But they will not take your sister, she’s too young , but there is a foster house that will take her in. You don't have a choice in the matter so don't try to argue. Come on Julilet”, the agent stood with  her hand on Jules’s arm as she lifted her up , so the twins did not have a chance to run and grab their sister. 

“No , no ,no , I don't want to go!” Julilet sighed  , she could continue to yell, but that was really it, even though it was her ears and not her voice that was the problem.  “ Raven help me come on please Ren please, please don't let me get taken away!” Julilet moved their hands fast and steady , but the twins stood on the steps not moving.  The door shut on her as the black car engine started up. Julilet pulled on the lock but she could not do anything. Finally, after trying to rip the door open Julilet looked down at their hands and stayed silent a flood of tears coming from their eyes. The woman got half way into the car but looked back at the twins. “Wait for a black victoria fashioned car, that will be your ride. I am trusting you to stay put and go with the helpers from the school”. With that, the agent shut the car door and took her hand up ignoring the kicking of the  set by Juiliet and turned out of the driveway.  Raven watched the black car as far as she could. They could have tried to stop it but honestly, what chance did their little sister have with them? She was better off this way. She was easily loved. Jules would find a good family in no time. Raven felt her twin's tears on her shoulder but kept looking out to the blue red purple sunset and let out the words she had heard a lot from her eldest sister, the one she had found bleeding on the cold stone of a private school.  She whispered as her twin’s tears rolled down her arm “Ain't no sin without the sinner”  

Ren rested her head on her twins shoulders looking up at the person how had been with her no matter what she did “ why is life so unlikely?” Ren said as she lifted her hand to play with the chin around her neck a cold silver ring hit her soft skin making her shiver.

 

“ Life is not unlikely. It just loves to test us and see if we throw anything back at it. But we are stubborn and strong willed. Life has not got anything on us & my aim is good so are fighting back will hit life straight in the face” Raven said as she looked out onto their front lawn, a silver balck car came down there straight as it parked in front of them and a girl in red got out of there car looked at them sitting there “ You bitches ready to be sent to hell” The girl in red set her hand on her said and the sunlight hit her warm tan face.  Curls traced her faces as she leaned back on the front seat door of the black car. As her eyes looked at them as if she did not have the time a day for this for them.
