Hello beautiful humans. I hope you enjoy this chapter.

Kayden's P.O.V
"Hey, where do you want this to go?" I asked Amari holding the massive poster of an ugly monster which I don't know why he kept.
"Oh, that should go in the bedroom box." He pointed at the box beside the bed.
"Really? You think Jace will let you hang that thing in the bedroom?"
"It's awesome. He'll love it in our bedroom." He stated.
"Yeah, right, I bet you a hundred it will end up in the trash. So what is it anyway?"
"I don't know. I went to this shop once and found it. Purchased it immediately." Amari was busy wrapping up his table lamp to notice the expression on my face. Let's just say I wasn't impressed.
"You're weird." I moved to put the folded poster in the box. "So you're excited about the move?"
"I am. I can't wait to wake up next to my Bambi daily for the rest of my life." He smiled softly.
"Awww y'all are too cute. I can't even."
"Yeah, and hopefully, get my daily dose of bjs."
"Ew, no TMI, did not need to know that. After what I saw the other day, I am forever traumatised." So I said as I closed my ears, hoping this would be the end of it.
"Oh, that was a good day. If only you hadn't interrupted. But at least you got some materials to go off on."
"Oh my god, would you stop? Why do you love torturing me so much?" I was horrified. He always does this.
"Because it's fun, and I love doing it." He smirked. Jace is right. He is an asshole.
"Anyway, is that the last of it?"
"Yeah, once we get the boxes in the car, that will be it. I will come back for the bed frame later. Jace wants it in the spare room."
"So this is it, huh?" I asked, feeling a bit lonely.
"Hey, don't act like we're not going to see each other ever again. I'll still see you every day once university starts. Plus, you need your daily dose of teasing; otherwise, you can't function properly."
Okay, I'm not feeling lonely anymore. "Please stay away from me. Evil be gone. Where is my holy water at?"
"I'm going to miss you too, buddy. How's your apartment doing?" Amari asked.
"It's going. I just need to finalise some paperwork then it's all mine. The building is great, so I can't wait to move in." I answered, feeling excited about my move.
"Where is it anyway you never told me?"
"It's in Randwick. The new building near the hospital." I replied.
"WHAT?" Amari yelled. "Wait, wait, the new building with the plant wall?"
"You scared me. What did you yell for? And yes, that's the one. So I'll be moving really close to you guys." I smiled.
"Oh, my god." Amari was in shock for some weird reason.
"What is it? Why are you so shocked?"
"Nothing. I need to make a phone call." He grabbed his phone and left the room.
Amari came back after a few minutes. He didn't say anything about the apartment, so I guess we've moved on. But, seriously, who knows with this weirdo?
We moved the boxes to his car. He only had a few items since he'll be leaving all his furniture here, and I'll take it to the new apartment so they all fit in the car perfectly.
"Do you want me to come and help out?" I asked, placing the last box in his passenger seat.
"No, it's okay. I don't want to bother you any more than this. Plus, Levi is already there helping."
My heart skipped a beat at the mention of his name.
"Oh,"
Amari looked at me sadly. "You okay?"
"Yeah, I'm okay. I just miss him a lot." I replied, leaning against the car door.
"You really messed up on this one, buddy. I know I say this a lot, but you fucked up."
"I know, and I will wait until the day I can make it up for him." I have to make it up.
"Don't you think it's too late for that? Kayden, you had a chance in high school to tell him how you really felt. Instead, you left that day and kept dating Sophie. There is no making up for it." Amari's words were like knives in my heart. But he is right. I had a chance, and I blew it because I was scared. I was scared of my feelings that got too big and too fast.
"I know, but I sure as hell going to go down trying. I may have been an idiot before, but it won't happen again."
"Alright, but if you hurt him again. Just know that Jace is going to be planning your funeral. He's been wanting to punch you for a while now." He said, which made me smile.
"He tells me that every time I see him." I laughed.
Whenever Jace comes over, he greets me with 'Hello, person I want to punch'. So it's kind of our thing now.
"I have to go before Jace loses it. He's already blowing up. I'll see you around, buddy." He hugs me before going in his car and driving off.
I go back into my apartment and close the door. I lay down on the couch, contemplating my life decisions. I haven't seen Levi since graduation. We didn’t even speak that day. We just smiled and walked away.
I looked at my phone, pulling out the contacts list to look at the only name saved in my favourites. My hand always hovers over the name, wondering if I should call or not.

Levi’s P.O.V
I was cleaning up the mess left in the living room from the boxes when I found a book on the floor. I picked it up and walked to Jace’s room to add it to the bookshelf. I turned the corner and entered the room.
“OH, MY GOD. Jace, what the fuck?” I yelled while closing my eyes and rubbing them in hopes of erasing the image of Jace on top of Amari.
“Ops, sorry, Le, haha,” Jace said awkwardly. “We got a little excited.
“Seriously, I was fucking gone for like 5 minutes. When did you have time to get to that stage?” I asked, leaving the entrance of the room into the kitchen.
A few minutes after, Jace and Amari come back with a smirk on their faces. I glared at them, which made Amari cast his head down. Good, at least one of them felt shame.
“Sorry, you had to see that. Things got a little heated when we put his underwear away.” Jace said as he sat on Amari’s lap.
“Why do I feel like you are not sorry at all?” I looked at him with slitted eyes.
“Okay, you got me. I’m not sorry at all.” Jace smiled and leaned to give Amari a deep kiss.
“I am going to ignore your horny ass. I am only here for the free Pizza coming later.” shaking my head, I move to the living room couch and turn on the TV.
“So Amari, was it hard packing everything up?” I asked once they stopped making out like the horn dogs they are.
“Um, no, K… ahm. I had help, so it wasn’t that bad.”
“Oh, Kayden helped?” I asked.
“Yeah, he had the day off today, so he offered to help.” Amari smiled.
He seemed thankful that I brought up his name. If you'd call it that, I guess he felt bad for his near slip-up.
“You don’t have to keep avoiding his name, you know. It’s fine.” I said. Both Amari and Jace looked pensive. “Really, I’ll be fine.”
Shortly after, the conversation died down, and we sat silently watching a movie.
Two Weeks Later…
“Why did we come to this fancy restaurant? We could’ve just ordered food at home.” Lexi grumbled as we sat down at the table with Leo sitting beside him.
“Because we deserve to treat our self so suck it up,” Jace replied.
“So, Jace, how’s living with the boyfriend been?” Leo asked.
“It’s been so good. We should’ve done this since the beginning, but he was playing.” Jace said as he scanned the menu.
The conversation continued between us like usual. Cracking jokes and teased each other here and there as we enjoyed our food, but Alex and Leo were acting strange. It seemed like they had something else on their mind.
“You guys okay?” I leaned closer to Leo and asked.
“Yeah, we’re fine. Just had a bit of an argument over who needs to take out the trash, nothing serious.” he brushed it off and got back to chatting with Jace.
After a few minutes of finishing our food, Alex suddenly got up and excused himself to the bathroom. Leo followed after him… weird. Jace and I sat there talking before realising they were gone for a while.
“Let me go check up on them,” I told Jace.
“Alright, and I’ll go pay so we can leave after.”
It seemed like a long walk to the bathroom. This restaurant was huge. I finally find the bathroom door and push it open. Only to walk in on Leo, pushing Alex against the wall and kissing the life out of him. I didn’t know whether to be surprised or not with the way they were behaving these days. I kind of knew something was up but didn’t think it would be this. Leo’s back was facing me, so all I could see was half of Alex’s face before he opened his eyes and met mine.
“Levi,” he said as he pushed Leo away from him. Leo didn’t look as frightened as Alex did.
“Um, y-you w-were taking a while, so I wanted to check u-up on you. Um, so… how long has this been happening?” I finally managed to ask.
Leo looked at Alex, who had his head down, clearly embarrassed by me seeing them. Leo held his hand and brought it to his lips, kissing it. Alex blushed deeply, his ears turning bright red.
“We’ve been officially dating for three months,” Leo said.
“And unofficially?” I asked. Leo frowned, bringing Alex closer to him.
“Unofficially… since few weeks after the truth or dare sleepover.”
“Oh, I-” I struggled to form words. So they’ve been together for so long and didn’t tell us?
“Look, I'm sorry we didn’t say anything we wanted to, but we had to figure things out first before telling everyone,” Leo spoke, and Alex nodded in agreement.
“At first, we didn’t know if this would work out. Plus, you were recovering from what happened with Kayden. So we didn’t want to add to your troubles.” Alex added.
This made me sad. I was so absorbed in the stupid heartbreak that I failed to be there for my friends.
“I’m so sorry you guys felt like you couldn’t come to me. I should’ve paid more attention.”
“Hey, don’t. You had your own thing going on. No one can blame you. Plus, we wanted to keep it on the low because we had so many problems at first. We’re still figuring it out slowly.” Leo's smile managed to bring some comfort. My eyes welled up with tears.
“Oh my god, come here, you two. I’m so happy for you.” I walked up to them, hugging them tightly.
“Thank you,” Alex smiled shyly.
“Oh wow, this will take some time to get used to.” I laughed.
“Oh, trust me, we know,” Alex said, joining my laughing fit.
“So, does Jace know?” I asked, and the laughing stopped instantly.
“Um, that’s the problem. He doesn’t,” Leo spoke.
“Oh, this isn’t going to end well.” We all looked at each other terrified of what would happen when he found out.
“Let’s just not say anything for now until we figure out the best way to tell him. So you love birds and avoid doing anything shady while with him, got it?” Leo and Alex nodded. “Alright then, let’s get out of here before he comes barging in.”
We all walk out of the bathroom to find Jace in front of us.
“What took you guys so long? I was standing by myself, looking like a weirdo.” he pouted.
“Looking like? What do you mean? You are a weirdo.” Leo teased.
“Sorry, I had an upset stomach, and they were just making sure I was okay.” Alex changed the subject.
“Oh, alright. Glad you’re okay then. Shall we go?” Jace asked, and we all left the restaurant.
Jace dropped me off at home. I said bye as I made my way to my apartment. I saw a few boxes lined up in front of the apartment next to mine. It seems like someone finally moved in. I hope they’re not as noisy as the last tenant. I took out my keys to get in, but I heard the door to my new neighbour's apartment open. I look up to see who opened the door.
“Kayden?”
