As the rebel's cannonball hurtled towards Lizar's ship, the group held their breaths, their eyes locked on the incoming threat. But in a split second, Hamton's mastery over water shone through as he summoned a towering wave that engulfed the cannonball, redirecting its deadly force. The air shook with the explosion as the cannonball harmlessly burst in the turbulent waters. The group exchanged a tense glance, knowing that this was just the beginning of a dangerous battle. The storm raged on, battering the ship with powerful winds and blinding rain. The rebels were drawing closer by the second, their shadowy figures visible through the driving sheets of rain.
With the immediate threat of the cannonball dealt with, Fate Kure took decisive action. He grabbed a long rope with a hook on the end and hurled the hook towards the board of the rebel's ship. The hook caught on a protruding plank, and Fate signaled to the rest of the crew to follow him. Using his mastery over lightning manipulation, Fate energized his feet and ran up the rope in a flash, disappearing from view. To the rebels onboard the ship, it seemed as if Fate had teleported onto their deck. "What the hell? Did you see that? How did he move so fast?" one rebel shouted, his voice barely audible over the roar of the storm. Another rebel, a seasoned fighter with a scar across his cheek, snarled in frustration. "We need to stop him before he regroups with his comrades. Ready your weapons!" On Lizar's ship, the crew was climbing the rope more slowly, their efforts hampered by the rain and wind. But they were determined to follow Fate, knowing that their only chance at survival lay in defeating the rebels.
As the crew climbed the wobbling rope towards the rebel's ship, the boat they came from was crushed by the rebel's ship driving over it. The rope shook and twisted with the force of the wind, causing one soldier to lose his grip and fall into the roaring ocean below. Hamton quickly sprang into action, using his mastery over water to launch the soldier back up onto the deck of the rebel's ship. With a look of determination on his face, Hamton gave the order for the rest of the soldiers and Lizar Kure to jump into the water. After seeing Lizar's courage, the soldiers followed his lead and jumped, one by one, into the frothing waves. As they surfaced, Hamton launched them towards the rebel's ship, using the power of the water to propel them upwards. Hamton himself jumped in and launched into the sky, soaring towards the deck of the rebel's ship. As he landed, the deck creaked and groaned with the force of the impact, and Hamton fell through the weakened wood and into the storage room below. Meanwhile, Fate Kure was already on the deck, his mastery over lightning manipulation allowing him to flash through each rebel, killing them with a single, swift strike. "None of you are worthy of standing against us," he sneered, his eyes flashing with righteous anger. Lizar Kure and the soldiers fought their way through the narrow halls of the ship, their weapons finding their marks again and again. The rebels were desperate and fanatical, determined to stop them at all costs. "The brave warrior of Mobe is on this ship! You fools stand no chance against us!" one rebel bellowed, his voice ringing out over the deafening sound of the storm. But Lizar and his comrades fought on, refusing to back down or surrender to their enemies.
As Fate Kure continued slicing his way through the rebels, a sudden boom echoed through the air, and a bright red and orange light illuminated the darkening skies above. Looking up, Fate saw that the sails of the ship were on fire, the flames licking hungrily at the fabric. And then, a figure appeared in front of him, twice his size and with a threatening aura that sent a chill down Fate's spine. Just then, his Vig Rage activated, a primal and automatic response that allowed him to move faster and with more power than ever before. Fate charged forward, his sword crackling with energy as he slashed at the towering figure, who was revealed to be called "Hosha" by one of the rebels. But Hosha was a powerful opponent, and with a single punch he sent Fate flying into a sail pole, the wind knocked out of him. Lizar and the soldiers were still fighting their way through the ship, unaware of the chaos unfolding on the deck. Meanwhile, Hamton had emerged from the storage room, his eyes taking in the burning sails and Hosha's imposing presence. Without a second thought, he rushed towards Hosha, his power coursing through him as he prepared to face off against this monumental opponent. But Hosha was focused solely on Fate, who was now overflowing with electricity, his body steaming with heat.
The battle on the high seas grows more intense as Fate Kure, Hamton Kira, and Lizar Kure lead their small but determined group against the desperate and fanatical rebels who seek to destroy them. Vig Rage and lightning manipulation powers flare as the fighters clash in a desperate struggle for survival, with each side determined to emerge victorious. But as the storm rages on and the stakes grow higher, a new and unexpected threat emerges in the form of the towering, fearsome figure known as Hosha. The battle for the fate of the high seas continues, and no one is safe from the deadly conflicts to come.
i've kind of ditched the "extras" part that i usually add at the end of each chapter. its kind of a waste of time, i might introduce it again on book 2.
But here's another "Extra" for you:
Each book will focus on one generation of the kure family. Book 1 is focusing on lizar's generation. book 2 will start after lizar's inevitable death occurs and will focus on fate kure. book 3 will be on fate's son, etc. I don't plan on changing this concept anytime soon, neither do i plan on ending this series anytime soon.
