Jean opens the door to the gray, dusty building. Him and Livvik walk inside and a man in a nurses outfit is standing there. He's packaging something in a brown envelope. Livvik and Jean were dressed in nurse’s outfits as well.
Jean walks up to the man.
“Who are you two?” He asked.
Jean walks up to him and grabs his face. One hand on his chin and the other on his forehead. Jean yanks his hands in opposite directions. The man's neck snaps and he falls unconscious.
“Mind your damn business you death freak!” Jean comments.
Livvik rolls his eyes at Jean.
“You're extra!” Livvik remarks.
Jean searches through files in the room.
“Case 82.” Jean informs Livvik.
Jean was letting the sly remarks from Livvik slide but it was really beginning to bug him. Why was his cousin acting so weird?
They put the body in the bag after observing the body. They were both a little surprised that Zen could have done something like this. They walked out with the bag and threw it into the brown van that Chaser was waiting in. right before they were about to leave Jean stopped them.
Jean got out of the car and walked back towards the building. He pulled a gun from his pocket and shot the camera.
“Catch me now bitch!” he said, smirking.
Just then seven police came fleeing from hiding spots. Jean turned back towards the van and raised his hands in the air. The police were saying things and shouting at him but Jean wasn't listening. He mouthed the words “go now” with his mouth and then sprinted into the woods. Half of the police went chasing after him. Chaser and Livvie Drove off in the car with three police cars chasing them. They made one turned and when the police turned the corner they couldnt find them.
Once Liivik and Chaser got back to the hideout. Chaser and Livvik walked through the door with the body and some very sad faces. Zen looked at them excited until he never saw Jean come to the door.
“We're not sure if he's alive but we know he sacrificed himself to distract the cops from getting to us.” Chaser finally spoke up.
Aaron held up his hands in the air.
“Okay, dont panic dont cry— we can fix this.” Aaron said.
“Don't tell me you have another plan. Its your plan that got us here in the first place.” He shouted.
Chaser rubs his back.
“Not now, I promise we’ll get him back. He’s not gone yet.” Chaser comforts Zen.
Livvik slightly rolls his eyes at Zen. Aaron’s phone rings.
“Hello!”
“Hey!” Aaron responds on the phone.
It was Jean talking but the rest of them couldn't hear since it wasn't on speaker phone.
“Don't tell the others but I'm okay right now. I just need you to come and pick me up from the pizza house in thirty minutes.”
“Alright got it!” Aaron ended.
The two hung up the phone.
“That was Jean, he's alive and wants me to pick him up from a certain location in thirty minutes.” Aaron said in relief.
He definitely wasn't the only relieved person in the room.
“We will jack a police car and dress in costume to get him. We can't be seen as a group picking him up or they will be suspicious about the car.” Aaron explained.
“I don't know why pop Harvey made you a leader.” Zen said under his breath.
“Yeah, well, me too.” Aaron responded.
They all agreed and started preparing. They got in costumes and practiced some fake stories about their fake identities. Aaron always lets the things Zen say. Aaron is never the person who usually gets into arguments even under a lot of pressure and stress. He just doesn't seem to break.
Around thirty minutes later before everyone was about to leave someone knocked on the door.
Aaron pointed at Livvik and Chaser and the rest fled into their rooms.
Chaser opened the door and there was no one there. Livvik screamed. The rest of the gang rushed out of their hiding spots. Everyone's jaw dropped at the sight of this. Zen dropped to the floor. It was so unexpected. Chaser reached down and grabbed a piece of paper. On the paper written in dark, fresh blood was “I told you not to tell anyone”.
Aaron read the paper and realized what just happened. Laying on their porch was Jean’s dead body. The body was limp, pale, and lifeless. Jean had been stabbed more than 30 times. Zen was paralyzed on his knees. He couldn't move. It was like the end for him too.
Aaron thought to himself— “If i wouldn't have said anything; none of this would've happened,”
Jean's blood is all over his body. It's thick and dark. It's fresh and you can smell it. It's like inhaling young years and exhaling old. He has several wounds on his stomach and his eyes stare at Livvik with a blank and open look. Livvik isn't horrified but scared. He feels bad for what all he’s done and what his motive was. Chaser’s mind was racing; he was worried about everyone but himself.
“How would Zen take this?, How would he react? Is Livvik okay?Who did this?, Why did they do it?, What does that note mean? What's going through Aaron’s head?, What effect will this have on Mason?” His mind raced quickly and there was no stopping it.
Chaser and Mason brung the body into the house and closed the door.
“What now?” they all asked themselves.
“What does the note mean?” Mason asked carefully and concerningly.
Now Aaron would have to explain why this happened. He has to explain that this all could have been avoided. Would they pin everything on him? Would they kick him out of the Jinx? Vote him off as leader?
“Shit!” Aaron said the only thing that could come out of his mouth.
He even thought about it.
“Shit!”
“More importantly, who the hell wrote this note and who the hell killed him?” Chaser continued the conversation.
