Slide 10: No sight below the sheld
The warrior woman, Killsha, finally resigned herself to grabbing the ends of her clouk behind her back and wrapped it around her head and neck. The sky was pure white and the land below her feet was two feet deep and large pokes of grayish green grass poked through. She frowned, the water was getting to her knees now and she had a very hard timeing working through that endless water, she walked twice as slow as you or me would. She wished she could have taken one of her she warriors allies with her but they wouldn't have understood what she was going through. She never held screats from her family. She told anyone who asked what had happened and what she was doing, but the qeast truly was hers own and hers alone. She thought she heard a noise far away, something light and airly catch her ear but she did not know what. She started walking farther keeping her spear close to her chest pointed outward. Then something far off in the distance catch her eyes. It was a figure male as she could tell when she got closer. It was looking down at the watercrowed utop of a broken peiace of logwood. He was looking down into the water and his back was too her, This did not calm Killsha, she slugged on closer her eyes close and slited. The closer she got the more detailed she made out, and at some point the figure dipped down into the water below him and pulled out a large desvilish looking fish. When he picked up the fish she could see from many feet away that he was wearing a mask over his head, and then a long almost human mouth reached out to take a bite out of the wormly fish. Now the warrior woman was strong, but even she had her limits and her female nature took the best of her and she gasped almost dropping her spear. The figure heard her and dropped the fish into the water making a loud squish noise. He turned to her and from his side of the log pulled out a pointy black spear and jumped into the water. His mask and coat below it flouted above the water as it came closer to her. The warrior woman growled and jumped back right when the demon jumped up out at her, his spear pointed right at her neck. The warrior woman fell onto her back when she jumped back but that ended up being the demon's mistake for she swurved out her spear at him and stabbed the man's arm almost going very deep until he pulled his own arm back and screamed in a old voice. He tried jumping at her but Killsha lundge up and blocked the new spear blow with her own stick. The demon now understood just what he was dealing with and stood up on both legs tall, he was a good two feet taller then the warrior woman so she crotched down to get a better pose below him. They curled each other a few good times until he wipped at her side trying to slash at her, he didn't end of really stabbing her only glacing but when she dogged out of the way she sprained her leg and it took all of her willpower not to fall over into the light swamp. Their fight was strangly quite and no noises would have been heard to the outside world other then a pant here and there and the sloshing of water. The warrior known if she wanted to win she'd have to not jump around, too much movement and the pose she held would ruine and she'd fall over for one leg was more stick then bone. The demon slashed at her again and cut her more deeply on her good leg but that movement made her get a nice cut on his left arm and halfway through his chest only pouring shallow blood, no clot. The demon growled out something as a animal speaking langue, he tried stabbing at the bottom of her feet but both times he tried her spear slashed his spear almost cutting his hand. It seemed as though the spear the demon wealed did not break easily, the black one that clashed out noises when it was hit. The thing screamed once more and jumped out at the woman spear by his side, the warrior woman screamed out something but she fell to the ground slashing water all around the two of them. She fell hard but fear kept her eyes open. She screamed in anger as he lifted the spear over her head and his, the demon screamed in anger as well and right when the tip was coming down onto the middle of her face one of her speedily hands grabbed onto the black wood above the spear and her other arm blocked her face getting stabbed into the skin leaving a hole in her flesh but saving her face in the process. This pain and holding back the spear still being pushed down onto her made her growl out in anger. The demon swiftly ripped the spear away from her cutting the sides of one of her hands in the process, he was getting read to throw the spear down again but with her only good leg left she slapped her foot and shoe right into the thing's naked belly and he was thrown back into the white water slashing into a deep end of the deep. Killsha was unable to get up and only got into a crotching alive pose while picking up her spear and stared at him dead eyed. He was swift as well and regained himself, lifting his body out of the water and slashed at her a few times but her spear blocked them all, one two and three, until the forth time he hit at her harder then ever and the very end of her spear where the wood ended and the metal started it broke off and slashed into the water somewhere far off. She could feel the thing smile and he leaped her her once more, but this time crotching she was ready and grabbed at both ends of the spear holding the demon back, he pushed agint her strangth she againt his, When they matched each other still pushing he learned his head and mast closer to hers and let out a loud growl. His almost human mouth reached out a few good times and bit at her only cutting off the edges of her hair almost scrapping off flesh in the process. She screamed in fear and lost a little of her ground. He leaned in closer laughing almost getting the upper hand. When Killsha regaining her might slammed her head into his, the sound of a nut crashing only ten times bigger ringed out, and he stumbled a little while croutching over, dropped the black spear into her hands, and fell into the water. She wasted no time, blood running down the top of her forehead she reached her head down to the water and felt at his neck. He was still breathing. So quickly so lifted the large spear over her own head looking down at him with discust, then slammed the end of the spear down into his neck connecting to the mossy bottom below. He did not twich, he surley died a full minitue later as the blood flown all round his body, he died in a dream. She watched him, and when she felt his soul leave she reached down and again felt his neck, nothing, bare. She leaned up and signed. Pulling the black spear out of his neck, washing it off in the water below her feet and looked it over. She did not know what she was looking at but there where hiroglifics on it. She decided it was hers now. When she was finally able to stand she took one last look at the thing. She couldn't pull his body to the village, he was too heavy for her in this state, but she'd tell others to come back to the body to look him over. Her jounrey to the South had shown her many things but never a living man before. Before turning she reached her small hard hand down to his mast, and saw no eyes on that face.
