Giovanni is a VERY PEACEFUL person, he will always choose to avoid any confrontation and if it is inevitable to argue, he always tries to listen and understand solving the conflict, he doesn't like to raise his voice and much less use violence, THAT'S WHY he runs away when he sees Karina, because he knows she makes a fuss and doesn't listen to reason.
