BL alert - Juto and Ethan are boyfriends.
Juto met Ethan at a bridge, when the human lad was at his lowest. If you have read "I'm mortal", it went similar to Lance's story, only that Ethan jumped... and Juto after him. They both survived the fall due to the half-devil perks. Later Juto brought Ethan to his apartment and let him stay for the night.
After that they met occasionally a few times in the city, until Ethan was kicked out of home by his parents. He had nowhere else to go, so he went straight to Juto. Ever since then, they lived together, first just being roommates, then becoming a pair.
(Once Juto actually got the hint that Ethan crushed on him for a long time)
