Aila's POV
10:30
So far, work is going well. Working in the city's library sure have its perks. For one thing, I could gather data regarding that blooded message. Anything that could ring a bell, I flipped through pages to pages.
But I couldn't find anything worth mentioning.
"Aila, is everything alright, dear?" Mrs. Stella, the chief librarian asked me, her face was written with worry and so I told her about what happened yesterday
"Heavens! Then your grandmother has been missing ever since?" She said as I nod with agreement
"I'm trying to figure out the message written on the wall but I'm on a dead end." I said as I skimmed through astronomy books
"Maybe, you're not reading the 'right' books, dear." Mrs. Stella said that made me puzzled even more
"What do you mean, Chief?" I asked as Mrs. Stella shrugged and said "Just a thought, dear." Then she left to the counter for work
As I finished reading these books about stars and what not, I returned the books to the bookshelves then I accidentally bumped into someone, the books that the person carried got scattered on the floor. As I was picking up the books, I noticed some book titled "The Clock Tower Guided by Dancing Stars"
The person I bumped into suddenly ran off- "Wait-"I said but the person just disappeared. Oh well, maybe this book will help.
Meanwhile...
"How is she?" said the person who lit a cigarette
"Still as tight-lipped as ever, Boss." said the subordinate
"That won't do." The person with the cigarette said as he blew a smoke
"Get that old hag to talk. Do whatever it takes."
"Roger, Boss."
...---...
Be it by luck, prayer or anything, I will find her. Just wait for me, Lala Mamay.
